Julian bought two serious mints from the system store and gave Metang and Riolu a sniff.
Serious Mint: Greatly increases Pokémon's HP, Attack, Speed, Special Defense, Special Attack for ten minutes (can be used every six hours)

Halfway through Arbok's rush towards Julian, Riolu suddenly jumped out from the ground below it and hit Arbok's face with Metal Claw.
And Muk's body in action suddenly froze and then his whole body suddenly floated in the air, then slammed into Arbok.
