Chapter 251: Chapter 251: Morgan and Lott vs. Scáthach

"As long as you don't intervene, then we are invincible here," Lott stated confidently.

Lott was aware of not only Camelot's current strength but also Scotland's condition. This was an era dominated by England. Apart from the immortal Scáthach in Scotland, there weren't many heroes to challenge their supremacy. As long as Scáthach remained neutral, Lott believed victory was assured.

Upon hearing this, Scáthach smirked provocatively. "What if I decide to join the fight?"

Lott paused, considering her question. After a moment, he looked directly at her and declared, "Then, I still believe Camelot will not fall."

Scáthach burst into laughter. "Your growth is awe-inspiring!" she exclaimed. Her eyes shifted to Gawain, who seemed lost in thought, staring blankly at her food. Scáthach's lips curled into a wry smile. "Not only has your mind grown, but it seems your body has too," she teased, referring to Gawain's evident progress.

Suppressing her amusement, Scáthach turned back to Lott and Morgan. "Of course, I'll be fighting alongside you. But for now, it's just a spar. Come, I can sense the magical power within you, Morgan. I'd like to see how strong you've become."

"Alright!" Morgan responded eagerly, gripping her staff. "The time is perfect. Come, Sister, let's test the strength of both Lott and myself!"

Lott, just as excited, drew his sword. "Come on, Sister Scáthach. Defeating you will prove our dominance over Scotland."

Lott couldn't help but feel exhilarated. [To think I get to duel the legendary Queen of the Kingdom of Shadows. This is an experience I never imagined.] He mused silently.

The time he had passed. Where once he had to look up to Scáthach in awe, now he stood ready to challenge her alongside Morgan. Few could even dream of facing Scáthach, let alone fight her with an ally.

"It seems you're quite confident in your abilities!" Scáthach taunted, noticing their expressions.

"Of course," Lott affirmed, standing tall.

"Well, I noticed that King Leodegrance's castle courtyard looks like a suitable place. Let's head there," Scáthach suggested, twirling her spear before striding outside.

Lott and Morgan exchanged a glance and smiled. Together, they followed Scáthach, with Lott gripping Vasilis and Morgan clutching her staff, ready to take on this formidable opponent.

As they walked, they encountered Ritsuka Fujimaru and her companions. Scáthach paused, taking a step back.

"It seems I was destined to meet you all in the future," she said to Ritsuka.

"Miss Scáthach!" Ritsuka and the others exclaimed, excitement lighting up their faces. Mash and Ritsuka exchanged hopeful glances.

Could Scáthach help them? Maybe she could even restore the timeline?

"Miss Scáthach, what are you doing here?" Ritsuka asked hesitantly.

"I'm here for a duel with Morgan and Lott," Scáthach replied, her tone serious.

Mash's initial joy faltered as Ritsuka put a hand on her shoulder. "Don't get too excited. This might just be a friendly sparring match," she said, her voice tinged with resignation.

Ritsuka had noticed Lott and Morgan approaching, armed but not appearing wary of Scáthach's sudden moves.

"Yes, this is just a spar between us sisters. If you want, feel free to watch," Scáthach said with a smile, observing Ritsuka's surprise. The smile on her face grew wider, and Morgan and Lott, watching from behind, couldn't help but feel a twinge of irritation.

"She really has a mischievous personality," Lott muttered.

Scáthach continued forward, and Morgan and Lott followed closely. Ritsuka and Mash joined them, along with others who had heard about the impending duel and wanted to witness the clash between Camelot's king and the Queen of the Shadows.

When they reached the courtyard, Scáthach positioned herself at one end, while Lott and Morgan took their places opposite her.

"Don't hold back," Scáthach warned. "If you do, you'll lose very badly."

Seeing Lott step into the arena, Mordred's eyes widened. "That guy, does he really dare to fight Scáthach?" she muttered in disbelief. How could someone so intelligent also be so powerful?

At that moment, Leonardo Da Vinci appeared, staring at the sword in Lott's hand. "The holy sword Joyeuse? That's not supposed to appear until Charlemagne's time, over two centuries from now. How does he have it?"

Fujimaru and Mash's eyes widened in shock.

"And it's not just Joyeuse," Da Vinci continued. "Look at Lott now. That armor, those earrings..."

"That's Karna's Kavach-Kundal armor!" Ritsuka exclaimed, recognizing the golden armor they had seen before.

"How is it that Lott and Morgan, supposed to be linked to Britain, now wield European holy swords and Indian divine armor?" da Vinci wondered aloud. Despite her vast knowledge, even she seemed perplexed.

"Let's watch for now," she advised, rubbing her temples. "No matter how impressive Lott may be, he's still our enemy. Unless he finds a way to benefit everyone involved."

"Is that even possible?" Ritsuka asked, her eyes shining with hope.

Da Vinci sighed, dashing her hopes. "No. How can two completely different timelines coexist? The future can't shrink to accommodate both."

Ritsuka's face fell at this, but her attention quickly turned back to the arena as the battle was about to begin.

Morgan stood ready, staff in hand, her crown gleaming, looking every bit the regal and powerful queen she was.

"Shall we begin?" Scáthach asked Lott.

"Of course," Lott replied confidently.

He swung his sword and charged towards Scáthach. Knowing he wasn't as strong as her, he had to strike first, not giving her the chance to gain the upper hand. Morgan wasn't idle either. As Lott advanced, she cast numerous enhancement spells, boosting his abilities.

At the same time, Scáthach wasn't unaffected. Curses meant to slow her down, rob her senses, and induce pain surrounded her. Morgan's magic had clearly grown stronger.

"You've improved, Morgan. You can cast so many spells in such a short time," Scáthach noted, then uttered something incomprehensible to Morgan. Immediately, all the curses vanished.

Morgan recognized the language of the ancient Runes. "Sister, using Runes against me? That's sneaky!" she teased.

"But effective," Scáthach replied. "If you want, I can teach you later."

"Really? That would be amazing!" Morgan's eyes sparkled at the offer.
