Standing next to Xiao Yixian, Xiao Yu noticed her reluctance to part with Xiao Lan and suggested, "Why not bring Xiao Lan along? It would make a good companion."

"Third Team Leader, you're in luck today. We've encountered a Snow Fox right as we entered the mountains!"

Hermon, basking in the flattery, felt elated, thinking about how to find a place to set up camp and enjoy his time. As he contemplated, one of his subordinates suddenly shouted, "Who goes there?"
Hermon looked up and saw Xiao Yixian standing a short distance away. He recognized her immediately, as Xiao Yixian was quite famous. His men also seemed to recognize her, but they kept their comments to themselves, watching her closely. They remembered that there was a bounty on Xiao Yixian from their mercenary group.
Hermon's gaze turned lecherous as he grinned, "Ah, if it isn't Xiao Yixian! I must say, your beauty is indeed unparalleled. I've heard that our Young Team Leader has taken quite a liking to you!"
Xiao Yixian's face darkened, and she said coldly, "Your Wolf Head Mercenary Group has done many evil deeds. Sooner or later, someone will deal with you!"
Hermon burst into laughter at her words. After a while, he managed to compose himself and said, "There's no need for you to worry about that. I know our Wolf Head Mercenary Group is the strongest among the three major mercenary groups!"
He then leered at Xiao Yixian. "I'm considering handing you over to the Young Team Leader. I'm feeling a bit unsatisfied, so why not first see what the revered Xiao Yixian tastes like? Hahaha!"
Blue Lady, nestled in his arms, complained, "Dearest, isn't one person enough for you? Why do you need this young girl as well? Should I teach her some skills in bed?"
Her words were suggestive, but Hermon took them as approval, "Hehe, my lady is right. This girl will need some guidance from you in bed, indeed!" He leered at Xiao Yixian, already considering her as his possession.
Xiao Yixian's face flushed with anger, ready to take action, but Xiao Yu stopped her. She looked at him in confusion.
Xiao Yu explained, "This scum is an Eight-Star Dou Practitioner. Leave him to me. You can deal with the woman."
Fuming, Xiao Yixian gave a reluctant nod.
Hermon finally noticed the young man beside Xiao Yixian, assuming he was just a helper. He sneered, "Boy, this is a matter for our Wolf Head Mercenary Group. If you want to stay alive, you'd better stay out of it. Otherwise…"
Xiao Yu nonchalantly responded, "Otherwise what?"
Hermon's eyes turned cold. "Otherwise, I'll make sure you stay here forever!"
"Oh? Make me stay here forever? Let's see if you have the capability to do that. Maybe I'm someone you can't afford to offend," Xiao Yu said with a faint smile.
The mercenaries and even Blue Lady laughed derisively. "Do you know who he is? He's Lord Hermon, the Third Team Leader of the Wolf Head Mercenary Group, an Eight-Star Dou Practitioner. You're no match for him!"
Xiao Yu only grinned. "Is that so? Then I'm eager to see how strong you are or if you're just a paper tiger!"
Hermon's face darkened, and he commanded, "Attack him! Kill this boy. Don't harm Xiao Yixian; I want to enjoy her tonight!" He ended with a sinister laugh.
"Understood!"
Fifteen mercenaries charged at Xiao Yu. With a cold smirk, Xiao Yu said, "You've come to the wrong place. If that's the case, then die!"
As he spoke, Xiao Yu vanished from their sight, his strange movement making it impossible for the mercenaries to target him. Even Hermon, observing from his carriage, struggled to catch a glimpse of Xiao Yu.
"I'm behind you!" A calm voice called out. The mercenaries turned to see Xiao Yu floating in mid-air, his sword, Mo Lin, emitting a sharp whistle. The intense heat from his sword raised the temperature around them. Xiao Yu declared, "Heaven Burning Sword!"
With his Six-Star Dou Master strength on full display, the violent aura enveloped the area, making it hard to breathe. The searing sword energy surged towards the mercenaries, leaving them unable to react. Hermon, from his vantage point, was so terrified that he fell to his knees, trembling as the Dou Master's powerful aura struck him.
Blood splattered as Xiao Yu showed no mercy, his anger justifiably directed at the mercenaries. In moments, he left only a pile of bloody remains behind. Even Xiao Yixian, accustomed to the Monster Beast Mountain Range's battles, turned pale.
Seeing Xiao Yu's lethal attack and the Dou Master's overwhelming aura, which even surpassed what he'd felt from the Team Leader, Mu She, Hermon was petrified. As Xiao Yu turned, he begged desperately, "B-big Brother, please spare me!"
Xiao Yu's Mo Lin sword pointed menacingly at Hermon, who was filled with fear, hoping Xiao Yu wouldn't execute him. Blue Lady beside him shared his terror.
