Chapter 42: Heading to the Desert City
"Since you've decided to cultivate the Evil Poison Body, I won't keep it from you any longer," Xiao Yu began.
Xiao Yixian looked at him, puzzled. "What do you mean?"
Xiao Yu smiled lightly. "Actually, not only do I know a lot about the Evil Poison Body, but I also know how to completely control it!"
Xiao Yixian was momentarily stunned. "Are you serious? Is what you said true?" she asked after regaining her composure.

The Evil Poison Body can be managed in two ways. The first method, recorded in the Pill Codex, is to practice the Detoxification Zen Sutra. This is an extremely unique technique, just like the Evil Poison Body itself. Although the Detoxification Zen Sutra is a Yellow-grade technique, it can convert all poison Dou Qi into normal Dou Qi. However, the drawback is that after converting the poison Dou Qi, one's strength is almost completely depleted. Xiao Yu criticized this method as impractical — one would have to first increase their strength with the Evil Poison Body and then, when it becomes uncontrollable, practice the Detoxification Zen Sutra. It seemed impractical.
Thus, Xiao Yu dismissed this first method. The second method involves using Poison Pills. The Pill Codex provides a more detailed and effective approach: progressively refining different Poison Pills to control the toxins in the body.
Xiao Yu shared this method with Xiao Yixian. She was surprised. "The Evil Poison Body can be cultivated this way?"
Xiao Yu laughed, "It's not unique to you. Since there have been predecessors with the Evil Poison Body, there must be some reference methods for controlling it. In my opinion, using Poison Pills to manage the poison Dou Qi is a safer approach."

Xiao Yu's confidence stemmed from the fact that the Life Elixir was the essence of the Tree of Life within him. The challenge was obtaining the third-grade Magic Core. Just then, Xiao Zi, the Crystal Wing Lion King, approached.

The night passed quietly. Xiao Yixian had already packed her belongings and was ready to go. Xiao Yu had little to prepare.
Xiao Yixian summoned Xiao Lan and, carrying Xiao Bai, climbed onto its back. Xiao Yu and Xiao Zi followed, and with Xiao Lan's powerful wings, they soared into the sky.
As Xiao Yixian looked down at the shrinking valley and small wooden house, she felt a tinge of sadness. "This time, I don't know when we'll return."
Xiao Yu comforted her, "We'll come back. The world outside has even better scenery waiting for you!"
Xiao Yixian smiled sweetly in response.
Xiao Lan carried them to the outskirts of the Monster Beast Mountain Range before stopping. Xiao Yixian said, "Xiao Lan, we part ways here. The outside world is too dangerous. You'll be freer staying in the Monster Beast Mountain Range. Go now!"
Xiao Lan nuzzled Xiao Yixian's shoulder with its large head, showing reluctance to part.
