If Jack's expression could be summed up by a word, it would be horror. He stared at the post with widened eyes.

Dylan couldn't have scored, could he? He couldn't have, no! He didn't score!

The fact that Jack was in denial didn't change what happened. Merseyside Red equalized, his career was in danger once more, and his future was shrouded in uncertainty.

Omari on the other hand didn't feel as angry as he thought he would. He just stared blankly at the post and shook his head. It wasn't like he didn't already expect it. His team's defenders had a way of fucking up whenever they were needed the most.

He made a short walk to the center of the pitch and was waiting for play to resume. The referee's whistle which sounded seconds later brought an end to his short wait.
