That woman was a constant source of irritation for Rose. She couldn't understand why Sienna always seemed to find an excuse to show up at her house. It was like she was drawn there, and Rose knew the real reason—Sienna was obsessed with her brother. It was obvious, even though she pretended otherwise.

Rose remembered one particular incident that still irritated her to no end. Sienna had deliberately spilled water all over herself when she came over, acting all innocent and blaming it on an accident. But Rose wasn't fooled. She knew Sienna had done it on purpose to gain attention, and what made it worse was that her grandmother scolded her for even questioning Sienna's behavior.
