Chapter 2: Chapter - 2 A New Life

Two Years Later

"Tristan, you're off at 11pm tonight, right?" Delcain asked.

"Yeah. You?" I asked.

"Same... I heard some high rollers are coming in tonight for a Bachelor Party. Be careful, okay?"

"Yeah, I will. I don't do after parties so I should be fine. Rent's due tomorrow so I'll head to the bank tomorrow morning with Kaleb. Will you watch the girls?" I asked.

"Yeah, I'm off tomorrow so I could do it if you want me to." Delcain said, with a shrug.

"Nah, I want Kaleb to get used to doing it too so we won't have to worry when it's due again."

"True enough, now that we have to work to make rent, it stresses me out..."

"I have a lot saved up, and my bonus will come next month. Plus you got a raise and became the Head Bartender so it'll all work out." I said, waving as I walked back to the locker room to get changed.

Delcain and I had been working at a strip club for Omegas for over a year and a half now. Delcain secured a job as a bartender and I, as a server. The pay was decent. It covered the bills at least. The price of rent for a three bedroom apartment was more than we imagined, so the funds we had in the beginning were reaching their end after two years.

The club we worked for was called Vixen's Bunny Club, the outfits were ridiculously revealing. A black, strapless latex one piece with a revealing V-cut top. Accompanied by black fishnet stockings, white knee high boots, and bunny ears. My first week here was hell, I would get groped by customers all night, and came close to being dragged out by a drunk alpha.

"Tristan, you were supposed to be on the floor 5 minutes ago. We have guests that need to be serviced. Hurry the hell up!" Barthélemy snarled.

He was the manager and an all around bias asshole. I couldn't say what I wanted to him, because he was always threatening to fire me. The owner had taken pity on me and gave me a job, and the manager didn't like the "special treatment" I had received by not being vetted by him first.

"Yes sir, I'm heading out now." I said, putting my bunny ears in place.

I walked back out onto the floor, taking orders for my tables and getting them from the bar. Everything had become severely routine for the last year. I could basically do it with my eyes closed, and the tips weren't bad either.

The club was busy for a Friday night and it quickly filled up with patrons. It didn't bother me much, because the more people, the faster my night went.

It was around 10pm that I finally got to go on break. I sat at the bar eating fries while talking to Delcain.

"It's really packed tonight. I hope they don't make me stay over... I'm so tired..." I groaned to Delcain.

"You're their best server, and beautiful to look at. If that high roller group isn't here yet, then you'll definitely be late." Delcain retorted.

"Ugh... I was hoping they changed their minds... Are you getting dinner for the kids tonight?" I asked.

"Yeah, we are cooking tomorrow, but it's pizza tonight." Delcain said mixing a drink.

Just then a commotion broke out at the main doors. A large group of 15 men walked in. Their dress code oozing money and status.

"Ngh... save me a slice... I doubt I'm getting out of here on time..." I said with a pained groan.

"Yep... that's definitely them. But hey, maybe you'll make really good tips?" Delcain said trying to cheer me up.

"TRISTAN! Why the hell are you here and not heading to the VIP room?!" Barthélemy yelled.

"I'm on break, for 15 more minutes. Also I'm off at 11pm just so you know." I said indignant.

"Your break is over and you're staying as long as the VIP's are staying! You were requested, and booked for the rest of the evening." Barthélemy said.

"Uh what!? How could someone request me? I'm not a dancer! And what do you mean as long as they're staying? What if they stay until close? I have responsibilities to take care of!" I yelled, jumping down from the bar stool.

"Apparently, one of the patrons was serviced by you before, and requested you by name. And unless you want to be out of a job, you will stay and ensure they receive the best service of their lives. I don't care if you have to get on your knees to do it!" Barthélemy said in a huff walking away.

I whirled around staring at Delcain. He had a grimace on his face, but knew there was nothing he nor I could do.

"I hate that bastard! I refuse to sell myself! I might as well have stayed you know where if I was going to go that route!" I exclaimed.

Delcain came around the bar to give me a hug.

"I'll look after the little ones, call me when your done, we'll pick you up so you won't have to use public transportation. It'll be okay, just smile your charming smile and sell the drinks. You got this." Delcain said with a firm look in his amber eyes.

I may have been the older one but Delcain was my biggest support. I would have crumbled to dust without him. I plastered a smile on my face and walked to the VIP room labeled #2.

The room was so heavy with pheromones that I took a step back, holding my nose. It was a thick mixture of patchouli, sandalwood, leather, woodsy, smoke, and vanilla. Goosebumps formed on my skin, and my heartbeat quickened.

"Ah! There he is boys! Sooo? Was I right, or was I right?" One man said.

I did recognize him, he was the perfect gentleman the last time he was here, although he never paid attention to the dancers, he only wanted my company.

"Hmm... he certainly is beautiful. I bet the women here hate him with a passion." Another man chuckled.

It was a bit on the nose, because even though I wasn't a dancer, some nights I went home with more tips than they did.

"Yeah I'd have to agree. I'd pay to watch him serve me drinks all night." Added a third man.

They were all staring at me with open wanton gazes. It was hard to handle all at once. 15 alphas, 30 eyes, all trained on me. I felt like I was being stripped in front of them.

"Hey Tristan, my buddy Duncan here is getting married next week so we are here to drink and have a good time!" The returning patron explained.

"Right. Congratulations. What can I get you boys to drink? Any snacks or food you'd like to order?" I asked, taking out my notebook.

I had a decent memory but 15 orders was a bit much.

"Just bring us two bottles of Louis VIII and whatever snacks you think are good. Any objections fellas?"

There were none. I nodded and quickly exited the room, taking a deep breath of air outside the room. I immediately ran to the bar and found Delcain. He was cleaning and restocking before he clocked out for the night.

"Delcain, I might lose my job. I can't do this. Their pheromones are too much. And I have to just wait around in that room with them, until they order something else?! It's so unfair!" I said about to cry.

"Do you need inhibitors or suppressants? You can't go into heat in that room Tristan..." Delcain said worried.

"It's fine, my heat cycle won't be for another month, so..."

"I don't know why you keep forgetting the reason why we were created. They can force your heat to trigger. It's why we sold for such a high price. Prolonged exposure to strong alpha pheromones will induce your heat, Tristan." Delcain whispered exasperated.

I tried my best to wipe that place from my memory so if it wasn't words from my mother, I didn't really pay much attention to it anymore. However, Delcain's words washed over me like a bucket of ice. He was right, it was the convenience of our genes, so that it didn't matter when we were sold, we would always be ready to serve an alpha.

I shivered, "I'm going to need both. Do you have any on you?"

"Yeah. I have two inhibitors and one suppressant. Take the inhibitor now. Use the suppressant if they start talking about smelling you." Delcain said handing me all three syringes.

I accepted them and handed him 250 corra, "buy some more when you head home. Thank you Delcain." I said, injecting myself with the inhibitor.

I put in the order for their drinks and a bucket of 50 assorted wings and two baskets of fries. I also ordered a platter of braided pretzel sticks with our signature beer cheese.

I took the bottles and cups back to the room alongside a bucket of ice. Walking in, I placed everything on the table and offered to pour them all drinks. Luckily, they agreed to pour their own drinks.

"I'll go get your food now, I'll be just a moment." I said walking back out the room. It was getting harder and harder to stand in that room. The mixture of scents was becoming overbearing. It was like they were doing it on purpose.

"Hey Tristan, I'm heading out now. Don't forget to call me." Delcain said as he spotted me heading towards the bar.

"Ok, don't forget to replace them, and feed the kids. I'll be sure to call you. Be careful!" I said, walking over to him and giving him another hug.

He pressed his forehead to mine and replied, "You be careful too, Tristan. Don't let your guard down dummy."

I ruffled his hair and headed to the bar, since there was too much food to carry by myself, I had a busboy help me carry the rest.

Walking back into the room, the men exclaimed in unison.

"Wow he did a damn good job ordering all this. It's a veritable feast of finger foods and appetizers!"

"I was scared he'd just bring us pizzas."

"Ooh! Variety wings, and I see he chose 5 good sauces."

"Damn he's pretty good at this! Pretzels too?!"

The busboy didn't make it past the door, the pheromones too strong for him to move. I envied the guy who got to choose whether or not he could walk in this room. I however, had no choice.

"Thanks Jake. You're a lifesaver." I said.

He immediately ran away, putting distance between him and the room.

"If there is something that you want more of or less of, just let me know." I said, sitting in a chair near the door.

"What if we want more of you instead." Someone inquired.

"Ah, sorry boys but alas I do not do that. I have siblings to take care of so consider this a special service, since I was supposed to be off at 11pm today." I said with a nonchalant shrug.

All eyes focused on me instantly. The air was practically vibrating.

"How many siblings do you have?"

"I have four siblings, one of them is a bartender here, but he already clocked out and left for the night. The rest are very young." I said.

"Hmm... maybe we should pay you extra for extra time? How does 2 million corra sound?"

"Excuse me?" I said gulping.

"C'mon Tristan, have one after party with us. Break your rule just this once."

"With all 15 of you?!" I asked shocked.

"No, no. Most of these guys are mated, there'd be no point, but Sylvester, Cole, Ferdinand, and I could go." He said pointing each guy out in turn.

"Bellamy, why are you adding me? I never said I'd go, he doesn't even look interested. I also doubt he knows what your intentions are. You're not explaining anything properly, which will cause problems later." The guy named Cole said, irritated.

"Yeah, let me just make it clear for you guys right now. I refuse to sell myself, I've had a shitty life, and my father sold my mother every weekend. The last thing I want to do is sell myself too." I said, hoping it would end the conversation.

It wasn't a complete lie, my mother would be sold every weekend, all weekend, until she became pregnant. She would be compensated, but at the cost of losing her soul. I promised I'd never sell myself, no matter how desperate I was.

"Well, what if you didn't look at it as selling yourself? We could call it a date instead." Bellamy said, he was being super pushy about it. It was starting to make me nervous, especially since no one tried to stop him after Cole failed.

"Me? Date four alphas? Hahaha! Isn't that a bit too far fetched. I don't know any of you, and you barely know me. Plus you should know, its written all over your face, what you actually want. The women here would be happy to entertain you handsome alphas. So why me? I have no experience with anything like that. I just work to provide for my siblings, that's it." I said, putting up a solid defense.

Honestly if I left with these men, I'm pretty sure the women here would kill me the first chance they got.

'I'd like to live please.'

"That's what makes you perfect. Who knows, you might like dating 4 Alphas. You could probably quit this job too." Bellamy said with a shrug.

"Something tells me, your date and my date are two different things." I said.

There were chuckles and laughter but nobody disagreed. They drank down the liquor and ate all the food. By the time the liquor bottles were empty, the pheromones were downright suffocating. The inhibitor was loosing the battle, so I injected myself with the suppressant just to be safe.

The drawback would be a massive headache but that was preferable to the alternative.

"Can I get you fellas anything else?" I asked, trying to escape the room.

"Nah, I'm too full."

"Same here."

"Same."

"The check then?" I asked.

"Trying to get rid of us already Tristan?" Sylvester asked.

"N-No... but you guys have to be bored now, right?" I inquired.

"You're right. C'mere and entertain us Tristan." Bellamy said, patting the spot in between him and Cole.

I slowly stood on shaky legs and lumbered towards the sofa. Bellamy pulled me by the waist and sat me down in his lap.

"U-Um... this is a bit..."

"Your manager promised me a 5-Star service you know, Tristan." Bellamy said.

I ground my teeth and bit back my words.

'That stupid bastard always says unnecessary shit!'

"You smell like chocolate covered strawberries, Tristan. What an intoxicating smell." Bellamy said smelling my neck.

He looked at the guys over my shoulder and they shared a knowing look. Then the man, Duncan, stood up, "Well I have to get going now, my mate will have my balls if I'm out with you lot all night," he said, stretching.

A group of the guys stood up as well, "Yeah I have to go to the company tomorrow. I'll settle the bill on my way out Duncan. Congratulations buddy. Tristan, maybe I'll come again just to see you. Be sure to remember my face at least. The names Ashton by the way," he said filing out with a majority of the alphas.

Everything was happening so fast, I couldn't grasp the situation. That is, until I looked around and noticed the only ones left were the four alphas without a mate. I tried to stand up, but Bellamy gripped my waist tightly.

"I-I have to clean up now, so if you could please let go now..." I stammered.

"It's fine. Leave it for the busboy. You still have patrons to serve." Sylvester said.

"Fellas, listen. I've been working for over 10 hours. I'm tired, and I probably don't smell very good. Could we um... take a rain check on this?" I said, trying to wiggle out of Bellamy's grasp.

"Not a chance, you smell amazing, and I'm not satisfied with my service yet." Bellamy said.

"But the bill has been settled. I don't have anything left to do. I told you, I refuse to sell myself." I said.

"Come here, Tristan." A deep voice sounded from behind me.

I turned around and saw Ferdinand holding out his hand to me.

"Oho? What's this? Ferdinand wants something?" Cole perked up immediately.

"Let him go, Bellamy." Ferdinand said, his voice sent a shiver down my spine.

I couldn't put a finger on it, but every bone in my body told me this man was dangerous. Bellamy released his grip and stood me up. However, I couldn't will my body to move towards the Alpha requesting me.

"Go Tristan, no one says no to Ferdinand. Not even me." Bellamy said, slapping my ass hard.

I took a staggering step forward and reached out a shaky hand. Ferdinand took my hand and gently pulled me towards him. He sat me on his lap, and I was hit with a heavy wave of leather and vanilla. It was almost intoxicating, my mind felt foggy and my body began to tremble.

'This guy really is dangerous...'

"Tristan, would you like to date me?" Ferdinand asked, his deep voice making me shiver even more.

"I-I don't know what that means." I murmured.

"Should I show you then?" He asked.

"Just you?" I asked.

"Well, to start with, I suppose." He chuckled.

"Hngh... No... what are you doing to me? My head hurts..."

"Hm? I'm not doing anything... Bellamy was right though, you smell amazing." He cooed, rubbing the inside of my thigh.

I shuddered, and tried to stand up. Ferdinand gripped my thigh hard.

"Uhh... that hurts... I really have to go home soon..." I said, my words slurring.

"It's fine, you don't have to go right now, right?" He said, kissing my neck.

"I don't... know..."

My body began to heat up, my nerves heightening. It was like I was being put in a trance, and my body loved every moment of it. The other men watched on, eyes shining with interest.

"Mmm... Tristan don't provoke me anymore than this. I'm really trying to give you a choice here." Ferdinand softly groaned in my ear.

So he said, but it didn't feel like I had a choice at all. My body was practically vibrating at this point. Breathing was becoming harder and harder to do. Every breath was filled with his scent, it was dominating my senses.

"So? Will you do it?" Ferdinand asked, running his tongue up my chest, along my neck, and to my lips.

"Do... what...?" I breathed.

"Date us. The four of us." He replied, kissing me. I felt his tongue caress the inside of my mouth. There was something in his mouth. I faltered and stared at him, bemused.

"Curious?" He asked, sticking out his tongue. He had a tongue ring that was shaped like a dice.

My eyes widened and my lips parted in shock. It was obscenely provocative. He ran his hand up my back and gripped my neck, then he began to kiss me deeper. I couldn't breathe, it was an all-consuming kiss. I couldn't keep up, I tried to push his chest but he never loosened his hold on me. His other hand groping my thigh.

When he finally let go, my vision wavered as I gasped for air. His left thumb rubbed circles on my neck, along my pulse.

"You didn't answer me, Tristan..." He said into my ear.

"Y-Yes?" I mumbled.

"Hmm... good boy. Do you work tomorrow?" He asked.

"Yes..." I replied.

"Hm? When's your next day off?"

"Mmm... S-Sunday...?" I said.

"Then that settles it. We'll pick you up Sunday, at 10am. Will you come with us?" He asked.

"Y-Yes... W-Wait... What?" I asked, eyes wide.

He stood up, picking me up in a Princess Carry, and headed for the door. The other men followed suit. He placed me down at the door, and kissed me again.

"Sunday. 10am. Be here." Ferdinand said.

Cole was next to kiss me, "Don't be late."

After Cole, was Sylvester, "See you soon," he said kissing me deeply.

Bellamy was last to approach me, "We'll be waiting," he said grabbing my ass with both hands and rubbing his erection against my stomach as he kissed me too.

The door close behind them, as I was left staring at it in confusion. Once the door closed with a quiet clink, my legs lost their strength and I crumbled to the floor on my ass.

"What the fuck was that!?" I groaned.

The door swung open and I had to lunge backwards to avoid getting hit.

"Tristan! What did you–" Barthélemy stopped mid-sentence and clapped a hand over his nose.

"What is this? I-I can't feel my legs..." I asked looking up at him scared.

"Ugh... I suspect one of them was a Dominant Alpha, these pheromones are terrifying!" Barthélemy said.

"Can you help me up? I n-need to go home..." I said, reaching out a shaky hand to him.

He unceremoniously yanked me up off the ground and threw me over his shoulder. He carried me to the locker room and dropped me on a chair.

"Make sure you're here tomorrow on time." He said and stormed out.

I stood up and stumbled to my locker and grabbed my phone. It was already 2am. I dialed up Delcain and asked him to come get me.

I got dressed in a T-shirt and shorts, then sat in the lounge chair waiting for Delcain. My mind was racing with everything that had happened tonight. I had agreed to go on a date with 4 alphas at once... It didn't make sense. I couldn't even remember the conversation that lead up to that decision.

*Ping*

—We're outside. <Delcain>

—Okay. I'm on my way. <Tristan>

I headed to the door, as I approached the main doors I heard an annoyed sigh. I turned around and ended up face to face with Mahayla, who rolled her eyes at me.

"You must have done a good job sucking 15 cocks to get such a big tip. Truly an enviable slut." She snickered.

"What are you talking about? I did no such thing, and I didn't get a tip." I said confused.

"Hey Tristan! That VIP group left you a tip. Told me to give it to you when you left for the night." Jackson said. He was the head of security at the club, and also an alpha.

"What were you lying about again?" Mahayla said annoyed.

"All I did was serve them food and drinks. I didn't even know about a tip until now. If you have enough energy to be jealous over things that didn't happen then you should have put that same energy into serving your customers." I said, equally annoyed. I would have given anything to not be in that room tonight, so she could shove it.

Jackson walked up to me with a black briefcase, he handed it to me and I noticed the combination lock on it.

"Um? Did they leave the combination code with you?" I asked.

"Urm... well about that... they said you could have it when you came for your date on Sunday." Jackson replied.

My jaw dropped, "W-Wait what?!" I said incredulous.

"Oh? And who pray tell do you have a date with?" Mahayla asked.

"The four gentlemen who left later than the others I believe...?" Jackson replied.

"Four?! Hmph! And you expect me to believe nothing happened!" Mahayla exclaimed.

"NOTHING HAPPENED!" I yelled, snatching the briefcase and storming out. Those guys really went out of their way to make a spectacle out of this, and it was annoying and the briefcase was frickin' heavy!

I walked outside and found Delcain leaning against the car. He looked worried, but his eyes widened when he saw the briefcase.

"I was beginning to worry, but what's with the briefcase?" He asked.

"Can we talk about it later? I'm really tired."

"Sure... let me carry it." He said, taking it from me and putting it in the trunk.

"Hey Tristan! I missed you!" Arrisa said, holding a stuffed animal.

"Good work today, brother..." Sable said sleepily.

"Hey guys. I missed you so much." I said, getting into the car.

"It's about time..." Kaleb said.

"Aww what? You didn't miss me Kaleb?" I said teasingly.

"Of course I didn't. The girls were worried about you and wouldn't sleep. And don't even get me started on Delcain's pacing..." He huffed.

"I missed you too Kaleb." I said smiling.

"I said I didn't miss you!" He yelled.

"So grumpy. You must be tired. I'm sorry I took so long." I apologized.

Delcain started the car and began driving. He reached over and stroked my head.

"It was rough but you pushed through it. I'm proud of you, Big Bro..." He said.

"You say that but it feels like you're the big brother," I said, leaning into his hand, "It was really rough..."

"We'll talk about it later okay?" Delcain said, speeding up.

I was tired, and truth be told I had no damn idea what happened. So I didn't even know what to tell him. I leaned against the window and closed my eyes.
