Chapter 4: Chapter 4: Growth Through Struggle

As dawn broke, Goku felt a deep sense of anticipation. His training had been intense, and each day, he could feel himself growing stronger, especially with the aid of the Weighted Training Clothes and the Breathing Technique. What excited him most was the realization that even during periods of rest, his power would continue to increase. The thought of surpassing Vegeta's base strength, even without the need for Kaioken, filled him with thrill and determination.

Goku decided it was time to put his newfound strength to the test. He approached his grandfather, Gohan, who was meditating under a large tree in their secluded training grounds.

"Grandpa, let's spar!" Goku exclaimed, his eyes gleaming with determination.

Gohan opened his eyes and smiled warmly at Goku's enthusiasm. "You've been training hard, Goku. Alright, let's see how much you've improved."

They moved to an open clearing, where Goku adjusted his Weighted Training Clothes, feeling the familiar resistance as he moved. The sparring session began with Goku launching a quick succession of attacks. His punches and kicks were faster and stronger than before, thanks to his rigorous training.

But Gohan was an experienced fighter. He effortlessly dodged Goku's attacks, countering with precise strikes that forced Goku on the defensive. Gohan's movements were fluid, and he could read Goku's intentions, anticipating his moves with ease.

"You're stronger, but you're still too predictable, Goku," Gohan said calmly as he dodged another punch.

Goku gritted his teeth, frustrated that he wasn't landing any solid hits. He knew Gohan was holding back, but that only made him more determined to prove himself. He decided to change his approach, reducing the number of his attacks to focus on precision.

With the weight of his clothes dragging him down, Goku concentrated on making each strike count. He threw fewer punches but aimed them more carefully, trying to anticipate Gohan's counters. However, Gohan remained several steps ahead, deflecting Goku's blows and delivering quick jabs that tested Goku's endurance.

The match continued, with Goku gradually adjusting his strategy. He began to see the gaps in his fighting style—how he often overextended himself or wasted energy on unnecessary movements. Gohan exploited these flaws, teaching Goku through experience rather than words.

Goku felt the strain of the weighted clothes, but instead of letting it frustrate him, he used it as motivation to push harder. The increased challenge forced him to refine his technique even further.

At one point, Goku managed to land a solid hit on Gohan, but it was quickly followed by Gohan countering with a well-placed strike that knocked Goku to the ground.

Gasping for breath, Goku looked up at his grandfather, who stood over him, offering a hand. "You're improving, but there's still much to learn," Gohan said with a kind smile.

As Goku accepted Gohan's hand and stood up, he couldn't help but feel a mixture of pride and frustration. He had come a long way, but he knew there was still a great distance to go. "Grandpa, I've been thinking… I've got these techniques that help me train, but I'm still struggling with recovery and healing. I need to find something that can help with that."

Gohan nodded thoughtfully. "Those are important aspects of training, Goku. Strength and speed are vital, but endurance and recovery are just as crucial. Perhaps you'll find a way to address those weaknesses as you continue to grow."

Goku took Gohan's words to heart. He knew that the Strong Fight Enhancing Body Ki Technique he had recently acquired had significantly boosted his physical strength, speed, and stamina, but it didn't solve his recovery and healing issues. He would need to keep searching for techniques to cover those gaps.

In the meantime, Gohan continued to guide Goku, teaching him various techniques, including the famous Kamehameha. Goku absorbed the lessons eagerly, improving his ki control and learning how to channel his energy more effectively.

Eight Months Later

Over the next eight months, Goku's training intensified. The Weighted Training Clothes became an integral part of his routine, constantly pushing his limits. He also spent time mastering the Strong Fight Enhancing Body Ki Technique, which allowed him to further strengthen his body by channeling ki more efficiently.

During this period, Goku developed two new techniques using the Super Technic Creation System: the Flying Technique, which gave him the ability to fly with ease, and the Universe Break Technique, allowing him to survive in space. These techniques opened up new possibilities for his training and adventures, expanding his potential even further.

Gohan noticed the changes in Goku—from his increased speed and strength to his improved control over his ki. The sparring matches between them grew more intense, with Goku holding his own more effectively each time.

Despite the progress, Goku remained focused on addressing his weaknesses. The Strong Fight Enhancing Body Ki Technique had been a significant step forward, but he knew that to truly maximize his potential, he would need to find ways to improve his recovery time and healing capabilities. This would be his next goal.

By the end of the eight months, Goku's power had grown exponentially. The daily application of the Breathing Technique, combined with his rigorous training and the new techniques he had developed, made him a formidable warrior. He was well on his way to becoming one of the strongest fighters in this timeline.

However, Goku didn't let his growing power go to his head. He knew there were still many challenges ahead, and he was determined to continue his training—not just for himself but to help those around him. His ultimate goal was to ensure that the Z Warriors would be the strongest they could be in this timeline.

As Goku stood on the edge of a cliff, looking out at the horizon, he felt a deep sense of purpose. The journey ahead was long, but with each passing day, he was getting closer to his goal.
