Chapter 61: Chapter 57. The Banquet's End and Return to Earth

After Jane returned, she looked troubled, and Thor quickly noticed it, eager to find out why.

"Jane, what happened? I heard my mother called you. Did she...?" he worried, fearing that his mother might have said something unpleasant. However, as far as he could remember, Frigga had always been kind and gentle, incapable of such a thing.

Noah, observing the scene, imagined Frigga saying, "I'll give you five million if you leave my son," while throwing a check at Jane. Though, in Asgard, they wouldn't use checks; it'd be gold coins. But wouldn't that hurt?

While he entertained himself with these thoughts, Jane raised her head, trying to smile.

"No, Thor, your mother is a very kind woman. She was very polite to me. But she mentioned something that has been on my mind."

"What was it? Tell me, and I'll help you," Thor said, stepping closer and taking her hand.

Jane began recounting her conversation with Frigga. At first, their talk was pleasant. Frigga was warm and interested in her relationship with Thor.

But at the end, Frigga had spoken seriously: "Jane, although I'm not opposed to your relationship with Thor, there's something you must know. We Asgardians live for over five thousand years, and as a royal, Thor will live even longer."

Frigga held Jane's hand and added, "So I want you to be prepared for the fact that in the future, you will age, but Thor will remain young."

After hearing this, Thor's face grew concerned. He had no idea how to solve this problem. He was a warrior, not a mage, and knew nothing of spells to extend life. Magic? Suddenly, he turned to Noah. Wasn't there a master of magic present?

"Noah, please help us! Find a way to make Jane as long-lived as me. If you help, I'll repay you," he asked Noah hopefully.

"What?" Noah, who had been merely observing until then, was taken aback. Nevertheless, he began to think. In the Marvel world, there were ways to prolong life: the Infinity Stones, though they were too dangerous for Jane. The super-soldier serum? No, that wouldn't work; Captain America eventually aged. Training under the Ancient One? Possible, since she lived for over 500 years, but Jane might not have the same magical talent.

He knew not all Marvel methods would work, but he decided that Thor and Jane didn't need to rush. The universe is vast, and many civilizations could offer ways to extend life. In the future, if he gained Aurelion Sol's power, he could bestow Jane with the strength of the Ascended, making her immortal.

"For now, I can't do this, Thor. You need to find the solution yourself," Noah said. While he had some ideas, he felt he shouldn't solve everyone's problems.

"Alright, Jane, don't worry. I'll definitely find a way. When my father wakes up, I'll ask him. My father, Odin, is the wisest; he'll know what to do," Thor said confidently.

Jane, moved by Thor's concern, advised him not to hurry. She decided to set aside her worries and enjoy the moment since they still had time ahead.

"Noah, try this, it's really good!" Gwen handed Noah a skewer of meat. Surprised, he leaned back but took a bite after seeing her expectant face.

"It is indeed delicious," Noah said, enjoying the meat and thinking that Asgardian chefs were almost as good as Lissandra.

The banquet lasted all day. Not all guests celebrated the entire time, as many, having drunk too much, simply fell asleep right there in the hall, which was a common occurrence at Asgardian banquets. There were many places to sleep in the hall.

Noah and Gwen returned to their room earlier. After some Asgardian fruit wine, Gwen felt dizzy and collapsed onto the bed, falling asleep almost immediately. Noah, looking at her, simply shook his head, carefully covering her with a blanket, receiving a sleepy "thank you" in response.

Then he lay down on the other side of the large bed. The distance between them was decent, but it was his first time sharing a bed with a girl, and he felt slightly excited.

"Damn, don't be so pathetic. Just sleep," Noah scolded himself, reminding himself that they still had plenty of time to be together. Perhaps one day they really would sleep together, but now was not the time for excitement.

The next day, Noah with Gwen, and Thor with Jane, made their way to the Bifrost Bridge to return to Earth.

"Gwen, soon we'll be back on Earth. It's my home, and there are many interesting things there. You're going to love it," Noah said. In terms of entertainment, Earth was unmatched.

"Oh! I can't wait to see Noah's home!" Gwen said, her curly hair bouncing as she smiled. She was thrilled at the prospect of seeing a new world.

"Let's go. I'll ask Heimdall to send you back," Thor said after saying his goodbyes to Jane and the others. He wasn't too upset since the Bifrost was intact, and he could return to Earth anytime.

"Wait, let Heimdall send them first. I have an idea I want to try," Noah stopped them as Heimdall opened the Bifrost, creating a bright, glowing gateway.

"What's going on? What is it, Noah?" Thor asked, turning around as Noah stopped and closed his eyes.

"Could this really be possible?" Noah whispered, not answering Thor.

When he was at the Bifrost, a thought occurred to him: Could he sense the presence of his "eyes" on Earth with Teleportation? He focused and tried to use his Teleportation ability to locate them.

In his mind, two points appeared. He realized he had succeeded: one point was at his house, and the other at his estate, where he had placed the Control Totem.

This discovery thrilled him. He hadn't expected Teleportation to work over such a vast distance since Asgard was an unknown distance from Earth.

However, Noah felt somewhat disappointed that he didn't have the Control Totem with him, only the Protective Totem. If he had the Control Totem, he could have placed it in Asgard and freely traveled between Asgard and Earth, provided the totem remained intact.

The Protective Totem could become invisible but only for a limited time, requiring regular replenishment of its magical energy. Noah couldn't constantly travel back and forth to recharge the totem. Although it was possible, he considered it too much trouble. He decided to postpone this until he obtained the Control Totem.

After confirming that Teleportation could work, Noah turned to Gwen: "Gwen, take my hand. We're going back."

"Ah? Okay," Gwen suddenly blushed. Although she had held his hand before, that had been more of an instinctive action. This was the first time she was asked to hold hands, making her a bit shy. Although she was a doll who had recently become human, she possessed Isolde's memories and understood a lot.

When Noah held Gwen's hand, he felt the softness of her palm. He squeezed her delicate fingers. In the game, Teleportation allowed only one person, but in reality, it was different. As he grew stronger, his summoner abilities also improved, and now Teleportation could transport multiple people.

"Noah, you're not going to use the Bifrost?" Thor asked, seeing that Noah didn't intend to enter the Bifrost.

"No, I have my own way of leaving. Until next time," Noah nodded and said his goodbyes to Thor.

"Goodbye!" Gwen said politely.

A blue beam of light shot into the sky, waves of energy spreading from its center. Thor shielded his eyes from the blinding light, while Heimdall watched the blue beam with a thoughtful expression. The beam vanished, and with it, Noah and Gwen.

"This power resembles the Bifrost in some ways," Heimdall muttered, frowning slightly. He hadn't expected Noah to possess such a skill.

"A true sorcerer, full of surprises," Thor said happily, not overthinking it.

While teleporting, Noah felt the surrounding space start to move, the image shifting, countless nebulae flashing before his eyes. It was like traveling through the Bifrost. He hadn't expected that using Teleportation over such a vast distance would create a similar spectacle.

"So beautiful!" Gwen exclaimed. She was seeing this for the first time and was excited. Noah, however, didn't allow her to move, fearing unforeseen consequences during the teleportation process.

The process didn't take long, only about ten seconds, and they were back on Earth. There were no impressive effects here. In Noah's estate, near his totem, blue waves of energy surrounded him, and a moment later, they were in the hall.

"Wow, is this Noah's home? It's so beautiful!" Gwen was delighted. She had never seen such modern buildings; her memories were filled with images of ancient structures. Asgard also had a predominantly ancient style, so Noah's home interior sparked her curiosity.

"Welcome home, Noah. Greetings, Miss Gwen," a voice said, catching Gwen's attention.
