Chapter 2: My Debut
I made an Aux chap for you guys to see what everyone looks like, at least what they all will look like when there considered adults in there tribal society at 15 to 16 that is, excluding the parents of course.

It was only a few months later that my fifth birthday came as my mother and the other members of the tribe prepared for the debut party for me.
"Neee, Dari, why are our parents so busy these last few days?" A familiar voice asked me, making me turn to look as I saw both Ankha and Akila, the only two girls of my age group within my tribe, approach me as I watched everything that happened from the side.
"Ankha don't be stupid, you already know why this is happening, today is his debut party." Akila(6) began to give Ankha(4) a Nugie for asking such an obvious question.
"Uuuuu, but big sis you didn't get such a big party for your fifth birthday did you?" Ankha groaned asking her big sister as she could vaguely recall it wasn't something big as this.
"No I didn't! But that's because Dari is royalty and all of the tribes that can come were invited to meet him along with there children to strengthen ties between the tribes, you already know how rare it is for a boy to be born right? His birth was clearly a gift from the gods." She said trying to drill this knowledge into her little sisters head.
'I should be used to this but seeing women with bulges in their clothes.' I thought about it while seeing the many women in our tribe all wearing scantily clad clothes that could breathe well but the bulges were very apparent.
The venue was very lavish along with various foods spread out for everyone to enjoy, the major tribes of each region will be coming here along with the smaller tribes closer to the eastern region and those under our tribes jurisdiction.
The tribes under us were the Falcon, Hippo, Aligator, Hyena, and Lion tribes and each would have a larger members sent to this party compared to the other tribes who would send the leaders along with their wives and children, though only the children of the tribal leaders would appear as it's best to form relationships with the other children of the leaders as they will when the time comes.
So the leaders of the Cobras, Orcs and Gerudo would definitely show up along with some of the tribes from the north and south who are closer to our regions.
"This really is going to be a big party huh?" I couldn't help but say as the majority of the Territory around the center of our village had been set up for what would be a massive party.
"Darius! Come this way! We need to get you ready for your Debut!" My mother called out to me making me sigh.
"Well I'll see you later at the party, try and enjoy yourselves okay?" I said I waved them bye before running over to my mother to get me all good looking for my party.

And a few hours later the party had begun with many of the various tribes arriving for this party with the addition of four more tribes coming as well making 12 separate tribes gathered within our tribe and us included totaling up to 13.
Us the Sphinx's Along with the Falcon, Hippo's, Aligators, Heynas and Lions plus the Major Tribes being the Cobras, Orcs and Gerudo and the extras who came because they could were the Northern Anubian's and Cheetah's along with the Southern Warthogs and African Bison tribes.
'13 isn't a good number… no don't think about that, you are extremely lucky now thanks to the goddess so you shouldn't worry about jinxes anymore.' I shake off those thoughts as I properly straighten my Egyptian tassel crown on my head along with making sure the bracers I had and my lower robes were fitted right while I look at myself in a standing mirror.
"Darius, everything ready, the party is already begun and there just waiting for you." Akila came to grab me with Ankha trailing behind her.
"Cmon Darius! They even got fresh fish for us to eat today!" Ankha says all excitedly as I walked over to them.
"Alright I'm all ready to go, let's have fun alright?" I say with a smile before grabbing there hands as we ran off towards the venue.
Now if you were expecting a regal party with fancy clothes and music you are sorely mistaken, most of the party is a very unruly party where the parents get to drink and relax while they chat with each other while the kids only have to meet with me and try to get along with me but for the most part we would eat what we want to eat and play with each other.
I quickly got the attention of the parents of the kids when they saw me, "My, My, Cleo! I can see where he got his looks from." An Orc woman joked with my mother who was drinking some alcohol when she saw me.
She just smiled and joked with the rest of them as well, but the main point of my debut is to make friends with the various kids here and get to know them while socializing, and that's what I went and did seeing several kids were already playing a game of soccer so I decided to go check it out.
They were all actually playing a game of Soccer with everyone that was within my tribes territory along with one girl from one of the northern territories, that being the daughter of the Anubian tribe, were on one team with everyone else from the other territories on another team.
Though I did want to play I could see a fiery look in their eyes as they played the game of soccer as while it's good to get along with each other, as most of the tribes were of animal origin the law of the jungle still stood strong and thus those that were strong were looked up too while the weak were looked down upon.
This was something everyone was taught and it's something we all lived by as while this was a 'unified' confederation of the Saharan Tribes, if things go south these tribes can easily turn on each other and wars will break out as a result, as when in times of peace these tribes are more likely to turn on each other.
Though supposedly my great grandparents generation made a unified treaty that all the tribes agreed upon that conflicts should be settled without resulting straight to warfare as the modern governments would desire to take back these territories within the Saharan Desert due to the fact that unlike my world, large deposits of fossil fuels and coals have been found to be located deep within the sands and thus if we were to destroy ourselves by warfare the modern world would wipe us out as a result.
You would think they could just do it anyway but our tribes had access to what are called the 'Beast Paths' by our people, though they are also called the 'Underway' by the Orc, Goblin and Dwarf tribes and 'World Roots' by the Wood and Sand Elves.
These paths give us ease of access to get wherever we need to move to without even the most advanced detection technology from aerial drones can't find us, especially during the day where the desert sands were sweltering hot that can easily hide heat signatures.
If they do try to forcibly take it from us we will personally go out of the way to destroy/contaminate the fuels the modern world desperately needs.
So that's why unless a blood feud is made between two tribes wars wouldn't break out and other things would decide who would win or lose in the 'war' and such things would be sports or brawls between the strongest within the respective tribes.
"Owww…." While I was thinking these thoughts and watching the current game the Anubian girl had just kicked the ball over to the lion girl with a pass which ended up making a goal winning shot for our side, I saw her ankle twist making her crouch down and grab at her ankle.
"Hey, you okay?" I asked as I came over to her as I looked at her ankle, though I couldn't see anything as her dark black fur across her body made it hard to see anything.
"I think…. I twisted my ankle." She said quietly, almost sounding embarrassed, which I found rather cute as I turned to Akila who had come over to check up on her with me along with Ankha.
"Akila, could you grab one of tribesmen or even your mother to get us some bandages?" To which she nodded before she and Ankha went to get some bandages.
"Sorry, this is your debut and I went and got myself hurt right as it started." She said looking down, but I just smiled at that.
"I don't mind that, I'm just glad I can help and that you aren't too hurt, my names Darius, can I get your name?" I decided to ask her as she seemed rather cute.
"I'm Nubia, it's nice to meet you Darius." She said before giving me a beautiful smile that made my heart skip a beat at the sight.
And who knew at this time that the first seed of love would be planted in my heart and this woman would be the first that I would desire to take as my first wife one day.
Though with the things that would come it wouldn't be something that I would be able to get so easily in the years to come.
