Chapter 14: Karma

"Fine, it seems no amount of apology can solve the issues now but I know why I kissed you. However, we don't have time to explain that now because we need to get Christine out of the hospital." He said.

"Get her out of the hospital? And take here where? Is this another strategy you're pulling? Mr Liam, I beg you in the name of god, please stop this already."

The tears I had fought so long to hide from him were now running down my eyes. I should have known it would come to this when I accepted his offer. He was still the damn man that can never be trusted. 

"Please please don't cry. You need to believe me on this. Christine needs to be out of here or she dies. Even if I stay here to give her my blood I won't guarantee her life." 

Liam thought of a better way to explain to her. He was not going to let her know what he heard until he had confirmed properly and learned the reason behind all this.
