Layla closed the laptop after taking out the USB. She opened the drawer and put everything inside. "Lucius needs to see this after he returns," she murmured and stood up from the chair. But there was still time for Lucius to return. So, she decided to ask Aiden later if he knew anything related to this case.

Layla stood under the shower to relax her mind. As the water cascade down her body, she recalled everything that happened with her. 'Why should I let myself suffer because of all this? I've already felt enough guilty and sad for something I never did,' she thought in her mind. 'And it's the time they should rectify the mistake.'

After a while, Layla made her way out of the shower. She wore a bathrobe and used a towel on her hair to cover the wet hair. Coming to the room, she rested on the sofa chair. "Someone wants to jeopardize Lucius's life. But why would the person want to see me all that? What could be the purpose of that?" she murmured.
