Chapter 50: The Devil Blushed

"This is probably due to some medical condition. She just started looking pale all of a sudden, and she seemed to have lost her strength, then...then she collapsed."

"Are you sure?" Nathaniel's expression was colder than ice, and the butler felt a bit of apprehension. He nodded his head. "Yes, that's all. She wanted to come upstairs, but the Madam tried stopping her..."

Nathaniel's dull eyes intimidated the butler so much that he nearly blurted out what had truly happened. But knowing the young master very well, he knew Nathaniel would likely cause some harm if he did.

"What happened to Nathan?" There was a gentle voice, and standing by the doorway was a doctor in a lab coat, with messy hair and blue eyes. His blue orbs landed on the sight of his friend being pressed down by a woman, and his eyes flashed with pleasant surprise.
