Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Konoha Village, Land of Fire

It's the era of the Second Shinobi War. Despite the ongoing conflict, Konoha is a village teeming with talent. At this time, Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage, is at the peak of his strength, and by his side is Shimura Danzo. The village is also home to the legendary Sannin—three powerful shinobi who are each capable of leading as Kage.

In addition to these renowned figures, the leader of the ANBU Black Ops, Sakumo Hatake, also known as the "White Fang of Konoha," is a figure of great fear on the battlefield, thanks to his mastery of lightning-style jutsu and swordsmanship. Altogether, Konoha boasts six shinobi of Kage-level strength, which has brought a sense of relative peace to the village.

However, this peace was shattered today.

The man who was said to surpass even the Sannin in strength, and whose skills in single combat rivaled those of the Third Hokage himself, took his own life. Early this morning, Konoha's White Fang, Sakumo Hatake, was found dead in his home, having committed suicide.

The news spread quickly, and instead of mourning or sympathy, the villagers and shinobi of Konoha responded with scorn and ridicule. This was because, just a week prior to his death, Konoha suffered a significant loss in the war due to the failure of a critical mission. White Fang had chosen to abandon the mission to save his comrades, which many in the village believed was the cause of their defeat. As a result, no one attended his funeral, not even to honor the hero he once was.

Sakumo's son, Kakashi Hatake, discovered his father's body and was so traumatized that he fainted. He is still in the hospital, recovering from the shock.

Meanwhile, at the Konoha Ninja Cemetery, a young man dressed in a dark ANBU uniform stood before Sakumo's grave. He was no older than twenty, with sharp features and a stern expression. Gently, he placed Sakumo's body in the coffin.

Ding! Congratulations to the host for successfully signing in at the target, Konoha White Fang.

As this is the host's first sign-in, and the target's friendship with the host is at 100, a perfect reward will be issued: White Fang's Legacy.

Obtained: Flowing Sword Technique (Perfect Level), S-Class Lightning Release: Heavenly Thunder Guide (self-created by Sakumo Hatake), S-Class Lightning Release: Nine shadow Flashes (self-created by Sakumo Hatake).

It's been a week since Yusuke arrived in the world of Naruto. He has now fully grasped the situation. He is living in the late stages of the Second Shinobi War, and his identity? He's the captain of the ANBU and Sakumo Hatake's most trusted subordinate. Yusuke was also the person Sakumo chose to save during the failed S-class mission, the decision that ultimately led to Sakumo's disgrace.

After burying Sakumo, Yusuke stood silently before the grave, holding a letter in his hand. It was a brief suicide note left by Sakumo:

"Yusuke, take care of Kakashi for me." - Sakumo Hatake

Yusuke sighed. "I've only just arrived in this world, and already I'm being handed a troublesome task. Couldn't you have waited a little longer?"

Although he had no deep emotional connection to Sakumo, Yusuke knew he owed him his life. Without Sakumo's sacrifice, he might not have survived long enough to experience this new world.

Now, with the power Sakumo left behind, Yusuke had reached the peak of Kage-level strength.

"Alright, I suppose I can look after Kakashi for you. After all, he's destined to become a great shinobi and survive all the way to the battle against Kaguya Otsutsuki. I'll make sure he doesn't meet an untimely end."

After placing a white flower on Sakumo's grave, Yusuke turned and left. As he walked through the streets of Konoha, the scene of the hero's lonely death weighed on his mind.

"That man is... Yusuke?" one villager whispered.

"He was White Fang's most trusted subordinate. I heard White Fang was his sensei when he graduated," another added.

"Hmph, if it weren't for White Fang's failure in that S-class mission to save this kid, we would have won the war against Sunagakure already!" one ninja sneered.

"He's just come back from burying the White Fang. Both the master and the apprentice are Konoha's disgrace. There's nothing to sympathize with," another remarked coldly.

Yusuke paused, hearing their words. He sighed to himself, "There are keyboard warriors in every world, it seems…"

Suddenly, Yusuke disappeared from sight. In an instant, a series of heavy thuds echoed through the street.

The dozen or so ninjas who had been mocking him moments ago were sent flying, crashing into storefronts, lampposts, and walls. Blood trickled from their injuries as they lay sprawled on the ground.

People on the street stood in stunned silence, some of the women shrieking in fear.

One of the ninjas, a member of the Sarutobi clan who had been particularly vocal, groaned in pain as he clutched his bleeding nose. "What just happened…?"

A shadow loomed over him. Yusuke stood there, looking down at him with cold, emotionless eyes.

"What… What are you going to do? I-I'm from the Sarutobi clan…" the ninja stammered.

Smack!

Before he could finish, Yusuke kicked him in the face, sending him flying several meters into the air before he crashed to the ground. As he fell, a few bloody teeth scattered through the air.

"The Sarutobi clan, huh?" Yusuke said, strolling over and stomping on the man's face. He lifted his foot, then stomped again, over and over until the man's face was a bloody mess.

"If it weren't for the Second Hokage's policy of civilianization, do you think your Sarutobi clan would have ever had a chance at power?"

Yusuke sneered as he continued to stomp, almost turning the ninja's face into mush. The shockwaves of his Kage-level strength kept everyone around him—villagers and ninjas alike—frozen in fear.

"Stop!!" came an angry shout.

Yusuke turned to see a small child, about six years old, accompanied by a black-haired girl with large red eyes.
