As the laughter settled, their meals arrived, an array of exotic dishes, each one a colorful display of intergalactic cuisine. Alien fruits that glowed softly under the restaurant's dim lights, meat from strange creatures that none of them could quite identify, and a few familiar dishes mixed in for those who preferred something less adventurous.
Tazra eyed a dish filled with what looked like shimmering tentacles. She poked at it cautiously with her fork. "I'm not sure if this thing is going to try to eat me first."
Prella smiled as she delicately picked up a bite of something that looked like purple seaweed. "It's quite safe, Tazra. Just… unique."
Lillith, clearly more curious than hesitant, plucked a tentacle from Tazra's plate and popped it into her mouth. "You're missing out. This is good."
