The Ark glided silently through space toward Axion Station, its sleek metallic hull blending into the surrounding void. Inside the war room, Ethan, Prella, Vala, Nova, and Tazra Kane stood around a holographic display of the station. The tension in the air was palpable, though not just because of the upcoming mission.
