The eerie, high-pitched screeches of the goblins echoed through the White House, their shrill voices carrying across the chaos of the battlefield. George, Raven, Lucy, and Jackie regrouped near one of the central hallways, the dust from the collapsed ceiling still settling behind them. The heavy thudding of troll footsteps had been replaced by the lighter, faster patter of goblin feet, and the sounds were closing in fast.

"They're relentless," Lucy muttered, her face streaked with dirt and sweat. She pumped her shotgun, readying it for the next onslaught. "We just took down a troll, and now these little bastards are everywhere."

Raven, her katana in hand, looked toward George with a steady gaze. "We're running out of time and space. They'll overrun this place if we don't do something."
