"I must admit, life is full of surprises," he said while chewing a large piece of meat. "First, a giant rabbit. Then, a horned fox that turned cute. I feel like I'm in a fairy tale written by someone who hasn't slept enough."

A few village men approached Alaric with wide smiles, refilling his wine glass. "Master sorcerer, you're our hero! We will never forget what you've done for us!"
