A Gigantic Monster Roars in a Room, taking form like a dungeon from fantasy games or books, with my teammates on the ground. Holding my ankle. Begging for me to heal them. I looked down in horror, one was bleeding from their eye sockets as I was exhausted, panting heavily.
" DOCTOR PLEASE! HEAL ME, I CAN'T BEAR THE PAIN ANYMORE!! "
I was panting. panting. panting. I was having a hard time with my Mana Drained from Healing People, I started to shed tears at the agony of the tragedies in front of me. The Monster was about to strike me but My Best Friend collided with its claw, Sparks Fly everywhere.
" WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, ALEKSANDR?! GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE! "
I'm a coward with only healing abilities.
I never wanted to be a Medic.
" ALEKS, YOU FUCKING IDIOT— "
I heard a pierce as He was impaled by the claw. The Beast flung him to a wall as he was bleeding out. What was I gonna do?
Heal Him and Die with Him.
Run and Complete his Wish.
Why? Why did you Curse Me to be Weak?
I couldn't decide, panicking. I took a deep breath before rushing to my friend, shooting a Mana bullet to an unsupported column, making it collapse on the beast. Making it stay down, as I took the arm of my friend and kept it on my shoulder. Crushing a stone that instantly teleports the both of us out.
I laid him down, regaining Mana to heal his wounds as the big one on his stomach was taking time. He was bleeding profusely. I unbuttoned his shirt whilst he was panting, trying to control his muscles to stay put and not bleed.
" sorry.. Can you heat up your sword, Sasaki..? "
He nods, panting as he uses his Mana and converts it into flames, making the sword spark yet slightly flaming red. I gave Sasaki a cloth to grip his teeth on. Sasaki did so.
" Please don't move.. "
I slowly use the Mana enough to bring the skin together and close the wound slightly enough to let me cauterise. Sasaki sweats, feeling the pain.
I manage to close the wound as I bandage his wounds.
" stop being so stupid.. "
Sasaki said, concerned, yet with a slight smile on his face. He would caress my cheek as I hold his hand close to be gently.
Knowing he's the only source of light I have left in this world, I cry.
The tower collapsed as Sasaki held me close. This was The End of The World.
I heard an announcer's voice, as there was a Crimson Red Chalice floating out of a box in front of Me and Sasaki. I held my hand out..
It floats to my hand, as there was a blinding gleam from me and Sasaki making contact with the Chalice.. As a dark, blood-like substance flows out of it.
Drowning Me and Sasaki, as the world slowly falls apart…
".. Hey.. "
I heard a distant voice call me, I opened my eyes.. My vision was blurry, as I was in a forest with a woman standing above me.
" Why are you sleeping Inna forest?? Is it not comfortable? "
I quickly jumped up, backing away as I noticed Aleksandr was not with me and my wounds sealed. The Sky was blue.. It wasn't Red like Earth's Skies.
" I wish to know how humans like you are able to wake up that fast. I'm 0% a morning person. "
The Woman had a slight sarcastic tone. Sighing, her hands were on her hips.
" Who are you..?! Where am I?! And where's Aleksandr?! "
Sasaki shouted, but noticing his appearance was… different..? He had black hair instead of his Red Hair, his face was also kind of different, as if it was a young teenager, but one thing was set straight…
He's Naked.
" wear some damn clothes will you? "
She threw him a cloak, shirt and pants. as there was a campfire. She was probably camping here and went out for firewood. And then found Sasaki.
" Hey.. What is this World? "
Sasaki asked, after putting on his pants. He didn't have his usual long hair and only had a wolf cut.
" What do you mean World..? Don't tell me You are Uneducated as well. "
The Woman said, with a comical vein on her forehead. Pointing at Sasaki.
" Well.. Sort of..? "
Sasaki had the black shirt on along with the cloak on his shoulders to keep him warm.
The Woman Sighed, as she would scratch her neck. She probably got a mosquito bite.
" Uneducated and Naked always.. The Name of This Planet is Redlocnse. My Name is Sheri and I'm a Lesser Valkyrie, Yours? "
" .. Sasaki.. "
" Ehhh that won't suffice in this world, they'll probably find you as an outcast. How about Leif? "
She said, suggesting a name due to Sasaki's Unknown Origins might make him be treated as an Outcast.
" I mean.. I guess.. Leif it is.. "
He sighed as he would break a sweat.
" Do you have anything looser than this?? This feels way too tight.. "
Leif said, his shirt was too tight, slightly revealing his Muscle Striations.
" Nah. "
Sheri replied with a Careless Tone. As her hands were behind her head whilst walking to the camping spot. It seems she was packing to leave the camp and go back to the city.
Leif helped with the packing.
" Hey, earlier you said you were a Valkyrie, right? "
He said, with a tone of confusion in his voice.
" Yeah, I'm just an Off brand of a Valkyrie that makes Contracts with Warriors or something. I could make a contract with you but it would result in me giving away my free will for some dude I never met. Whatever. "
Sheri said, packing her camping supplies in her bags. Before using fire magic to light a warming flame.
" she acts like a rebellious teenager.. " he thought. He suddenly thought about Aleksandr.
" Wait, have you ever heard of anyone named Aleksandr? He's tall enough to reach my shoulder, he has blonde hair, he has differently coloured eyes like Greenish Blue and Golden. "
Desperately trying to know if his friend made it with him to reincarnation, still helping her with the packing.
" ehh.. Nah, but if you're referring to Grandlonisan Prince.. "
Sheri pulls out a picture of a completely different look. Black hair with different eye colours.
Leif sighed.. Shaking his head left and right. As they were almost done packing.
" Where are we headed anyways? "
" The Ruling Capital known as Κανόνας (Kanónas). Don't worry it's a nice place, from now I'm your guide. "
Leif nods, walking with Sheri to the City which wasn't that far. Having to hold the backpack with the camping equipment.
" Is there a blacksmith that could make a sword for me? "
" Yeah, if you have enough money that is. "
" how do I get money? "
" You just need to do jobs around the capital city. Dungeon Towers are another Method too, but I don't think you're ready for that yet. "
Leif tilts his head, questioning Sheri about " The Dungeon Towers ".
" What's a Dungeon Tower? "
Sheri stopped, slowly turning to Leif with a comically surprised yet annoyed look.
" you don't know what is a Dungeon Tower..?! "
" N-No..?? "
Sheri calms down, shaking her head left and right as she would start to explain after sitting down.
" Alright Then.. A Dungeon Tower is a Tower that holds many floors to get Tras (Currency of Redlocnse), Weapons, Armour, Potions, And Spells. It progressively gets difficult depending on your Registered Rank. Speaking of That, you should be an E-Rank. You look like a newbie. "
" Well that's rude.. " Leif said under his breath.
" Alright! Let's get going. "
Leif Nods after Sheri Exclaims.

" Finally.. Κανόνας City. Been exactly a Year since I've been here. "
" Eugh.. You have been in the forest for a whole year..?? "
Leif said in Disgust to Sheri.
" Eugh, you were laying down naked in the forest for a day? "
Sheri fired back much harder. Emotionally Damaging Leif in the process since he was unaware of that when he woke up.
" … Touché… "
" Now shut up, if you want me as your Guide. you'll have to follow me everywhere. "
Both of them go through to The Citizen Registry, as Sheri Registered Leif after Confirming her own identity with a Card. Giving Leif a Card too.
" Hold on to that tightly. It's very important for The Dungeon Tower Registry. Come on, The Inn is near. "
" Okay.. "
He followed Sheri, he was feeling good about this. This wasn't only a Second Chance on another World, this was a chance to Find His Beloved Friend once Again. He smiled gently as Sheri rambled on and on about the things.
" HEY! you better be paying attention! "
" oh- y-yeah I was. Sorry I spaced out. "
" Whatever, the inn is here anyway.. Come on, only 10 Tras for each of us. We can go to register for a Weapon and The Dungeon Tower Registry later on. "
" Yeah, okay.. "
Both of them Entered the Inn.
" .. Where could you be Aleksandr.. "
Leif wonders in his head, smiling a abit.
" Everything has an answer to why they still live... I don't know the answer... "
