Chapter 22: RICHARD

After Cole, interviewing the others felt bland. Most especially as they failed to attain or even amount half of what he said and did.

The set before me was the ninth set, Helen Callaway and Aubrey Kent. They both got four questions right and one wrong. And I confess to being a tad eager to be done with them.

One more person before the climax.

"Vera," I called as she made to go call the next and final set.

"Just call whoever is remaining and save Sofia Blake for last"

She opened her mouth to say something and against her better judgment, she decided against it as she scrambled away.

Twenty seconds later, I watched Jenny Foil enter the room.

She was beautiful, I realized, with dark straight hair that cascaded her back like an obsidian waterfall, azure eyes that glinted in the sun, lips smeared in irresistible red, a perfectly carved face and a body like that of a model.
