Chapter 30: Have we met before

Elara stood near the main set, already regretting her decision to agree to this reality show. The air was thick with anticipation as crew members buzzed around, adjusting cameras and setting up lights. She shifted uncomfortably, feeling a prickling sensation on the back of her neck. Someone was watching her. Again.

Her stomach twisted. Please, not Eirik. She glanced around, scanning the area for any sign of the pompous idiot, but thankfully, he was nowhere to be found. Not that it eased her mind. If it wasn't Eirik, then who the hell was it?

The cast members trickled in one by one, each looking more ridiculous than the last. A tall guy with absurdly perfect hair, wearing a leather jacket, was the first to introduce himself. "Hey, I'm Devon. You know, as in 'devilishly handsome.'" He winked, which somehow made him less attractive.
