Brain and his group rushed towards the temple, but in doing so, they crossed a river where they saw a body that had washed up from the sea to land. Brain was shocked as the body that had washed up was Jellal, one of the most evilest people of the current era.
"Good, with him and the knowledge he holds... It would be easier to break the seal." Brain said with a smirk as he picked up Jellal and began running. Jellal thanks to trying to bring back Zeref had learned many things about the past, sure 90% of that knowledge was useless, the knowledge of Nirvana is what was important.
Through that, they could connect with Nirvana, and from there they would break down the seal. If not for Nirvana being sealed within the temple, then Brain didn't know how he would even start breaking the seal.
As for why Brain wanted to free the Scarlet King, it was simple really. He had done his research, he knew the scarlet King at the end of the day was a broken hero who had everything he loved taken from him. He lost his way and turned into a demon, but he in the end still loved his allies. Brain simply needed to show the Scarlet King he fully supported his goal, and was a true believer in the Scarlet King... and that would be his ticket to fame and riches.
Just the thought of the position he could get through all of this made his mouth water with greed. Of course, Brain wasn't a fool. There was a chance the Scarlet King had turned into a demon. So, before helping them, he had to make sure the Scarlet King didn't up and slaughter all of the dragons he had been sealed away with.
If the Scarlet King had truly slaughtered them all, then he was sure that the Scarlet King had turned completely evil. But there was also the chance that dragons would have starved to death, either way, if the Scarlet King was all alone, it was safe to keep him sealed away as it was too risky.
So, they entered the temple. All of the temple's traps were proven pointless by Midnight who used his reflector magic to turn all traps pointless before them. The explosion from the countless traps soon woke up Jellal who looked around in confusion, sensing this Brain put Jellal down and began asking him some questions.
Midnight and the others were scared of Jellal, they were slaves in the tower long ago until Brain took them away. Jellal was a demon in their eyes, but they were all shocked to see the demon they had nightmares about, had lost his memory.
Brain seeing this tricked Jellal into joining them while trying to help him recall his memory. Jellal only began to believe them when he came across the Lacrima which showed the Scarlet King, which talked about The Scarlet King's past and his goal. They went deeper and soon came across a large orb, which was a Lacrima, and also the heart of the seal which trapped the Scarlet King...
Well, you all know what happened. With the help of Jellal, Brain was able to connect with Nirvana, and from there he connected with the Dragons within which helped strengthen the link to the outside world.
{First POV}
"My King, we're ready to leave." A Dragon Roared towards me, and with the help of all of the dragons holding onto the link to the outside world, my fist shot into space, and my flames fused with the space around us.
"I got it, you may all return," I said calmly, and with that, a ray of light shot forth, entering my body. All of the dragons entered my body, while I looked at the portal before me which was slowly growing, my eyebrow raised sensing the Lacrima which had been slowly infused to the temple outside. I had no part in such things, I was sleeping most of the time, and I didn't even think of trying to send a message outside.
Shaking my head, I focus on using the small hole that was formed with the help of Brain and the others. It was hard, but with my current power, all I needed was just time, and soon a big enough portal for Dragon City to enter the real world... and so that's how I stepped back into reality.
"They are not injured," Wendy said while checking Natsu and Erza, although they had some burnt marks, it wasn't anything serious, and in fact, those small injuries were healing on their own. Jura was also alright, although he had been injured the most, Wendy had healed him up, and he had instantly got up to return to the battle.
Wendy although could have healed everyone, she couldn't heal the mental damage they have endured from being cut from the sword. That sword didn't simply cut their body, their soul, mind, and spirit were damaged.
She was able to heal all of them, and although Gray had wanted to join them, he had stayed back to guard everyone who was recovering from the pain they had endured or was too low on magical energy to join.
"What happened?" Jura asked while standing up, but Jura didn't stand for long as he noticed Wendy's horrified gaze. They followed her eyes and saw the huge Dragon City above Cait Shelter, they watched as the Scarlet King stood up from the throne, a Dragon at his side.
"Roubaul! For your sins, a simple death wouldn't do." I said coldly as a black son formed in the air. Wendy seeing this let out a cry while running forward to help the only people she knew. At first, she was shocked when she saw Jellal, but it became extremely clear that wasn't the Jellal she remembered seeing his past... but this was her guild, her family, her home.
"I will accept my fate... but allow me to say goodbye," Roubaul said looking towards the black sun with acceptance. The whole guild he had created disappeared, as it was just an illusion.
"Allow him." Erza Dragneel said seeing I was about to ignore him, she looked towards Wendy, although they were a few miles away, the large size of Dragon City made it easy for Wendy to see them.
"I give you 5 minutes." I sneered while looking towards Wendy, since Wendy was a friend of my daughter, I would give him 5 minutes. Roubaul was dead long ago, what remained was just a soul. Yes, even with just his soul, the guy was able to create such powerful illusions.
Roubaul flew over to Wendy, and before Jura and the others, he explained how he had created the illusion of the guild to allow Wendy to have a home. Everyone Wendy knew was just an illusion. Yes, they had their personality, dreams, and so on. But they were all illusions he created to allow her to have people she would call friends and guild members.
Wendy of course took the news hard, to think that for the past few years, she had been living with illusions. But in the end, she didn't care as it was real to her. She wanted Roubaul to stay, but when the 5 minutes were up, his soul was sucked into my palm.
"Because you're the friend of my daughter... I will give him a quick death." I said and before their eyes, Roubaul's soul was swallowed in pain. Roubaul screamed for a quick second, his pain coming from the deepest part of his being, until he was erased for good. It was a quick second, there for a quick death.
"I'm no god... It amuses me that I have mercy for an enemy." I said while my armor slowly returned. As my size grew, and as the eyes opened up all over my armor, be it Wendy, be it Lucy, or be it, Jura, horror filled their eyes as they were forced to look away, scared that they would be driven insane by such a sight.
"Let's go," I said while sitting on my throne, and resting my arms on the armrest, I looked at Erza Dragneel who nodded towards me. Nodding back, the dragon flapped its wings before it shot into the sky at a speed that was shocking for the large size of the dragon city.
"Shall we reclaim the land Dragnof once held?" I asked to which Erza Dragneel shook her head while looking at the sky.
"Let's take root in the sky. We can improve Dragon City to be able to stay in the sky at all times and only come down for resources... even then, we can set up teleportation runes, allowing us to go from land to our city whenever we want." She said to which I thought for a moment, before looking at the clouds passing by.
I had Dragon City pause within the sky, floating right above the ocean. I sensed the current energy level of Dragon City. It was low, and it was dropping fast. It needed a lot of magical energy for this island to fly in the air. I stood up, with black flames shooting outwards, entering Dragon City which began to reshape.
Its Dragon head disappeared, while the floating city turned into a floating island. The island began growing bigger, and everything was enlarged. There was magic related to controlling the size of things, one such magic was called Command T.
It is a Magic that allows the user to alter mass, be it expansion or reduction; the user can direct the effects of their Magic towards virtually whatever they desire, allowing them to affect, for example, a landmass in such a way that it becomes the size of a mountain or the size of a small boulder. The Magic's usefulness also extends to expanding the size of weaponry, turning a dagger into a fearsome sword, and even to first-aid, allowing the user to locate, once isolated, life-threatening internal masses and shrink them to negligent sizes. Physical, life-threatening injuries are also able to be tended to, and they can be reduced in size until they are a non-factor.
Limits, however, do exist to Command T:
1). A "max limit" for the increased mass to a certain size, as well as a three-minute time limit for the duration to be maxed out.
2). People can completely resist this Magic if they are of a certain caliber of strength,
I didn't have such a limitation. With my flames, I could change the size of things as I wished, Nirvana wasn't always so big, but I had enlarged it. The size wouldn't change unless I allowed it, for it was pretty much a curse.
So, I could freely engage everything, If I had enough magical power, I could even enlarge an ant to the size of the moon. This is something I could do without much trouble, it wasn't that impressive as people on the level of Igneel had enough magical power to do such a task.
I waved my hands, and the life from the earth flew towards the island, I used my flames to speed up time. Water shot into the sky from the ocean, it was purified and washed over the island. Trees, grasses, and many other plants began to grow all over the place, bringing life onto the island.
"What do you think?" I asked while looking at the huge Country-sized island, which held a huge city, along with the sea, and so on. Around the island, mountains stood as a wall, although the city also held a wall. It was all huge, and majestic.
"It would do... although your creativity isn't as good. We would take everything from here." Erza Dragneel said to which I shrugged as I indeed wasn't all that creative with this stuff.
"Also, the island is a weapon. Avoid having the city reach too far from the center, when the time comes, it shall return to its dragon form." I said lightly, to which Erza nodded while calling forth the rest of the dragons, and quickly with all of the dragons working together, in a matter of 3 hours, Dragon City appeared before me.
I created some clouds, which the Dragon City rested upon. I used my flames to create these clouds to be special, those below looking at this cloud would see a normal sky. So the clouds couldn't be seen, as it was completely invisible to those below. The clouds also hid Dragon City
