After Albert finished his conversation with Kreacher, he gathered his belongings, which were placed on a large trolley, and disappeared from Kreacher's sight.
Albert reappeared at King's Cross Station, where trains for the non-magical world departed. However, to reach the magical trains, including the one that would take children to the wizarding school, he had to enter Platform 9¾ with his belongings.
Taking five steps back, Albert gripped the trolley tightly and ran quickly towards the barrier leading to Platform 9¾.
On the other side, he found himself in a bustling scene where families were bidding their children goodbye with excitement as they boarded the train to the wizarding school.
Albert arrived just in time to step up to the train's entrance, pulling out his ticket to board.
After the train conductor checked his ticket, Albert was allowed to get on.
He wandered through the train, looking for an empty compartment where he could read his book undisturbed. When he reached the fifth compartment, he found Ron sitting alone, munching on a chicken drumstick.
"Mmph... You're the one I saw with my dad the other day, aren't you?" Ron mumbled through a mouthful of food.
"Is anyone else sitting with you in this compartment?" Albert asked.
Ron tried to respond but his words were muffled by the food in his mouth.
"Why don't you finish eating first, then you can tell me?" Albert suggested.
Once Ron swallowed his food, he spoke clearly, "I said Harry was sitting with me, but he went to buy a sandwich from the trolley."
"Alright," Albert replied.
Ron continued, "My dad told me your name is Albert, right?"
"Yes, and your father told me your name is Ron, isn't that correct?" Albert responded.
"Yeah, I saw you that day catching the thief. I wish I could learn magic like that. That's why I came to the wizarding school—to learn. Can you tell me how you learned magic so well that you could catch a thief?" Ron asked eagerly.
Before Albert could answer, Harry entered the compartment, holding a bag with two sandwiches inside.
Harry and Albert's eyes met, and both immediately felt their hearts race and a dizzying sensation overcome them.
Harry nearly collapsed but grabbed onto the door to steady himself.
"Ah, my head!" Harry groaned.
"What's wrong, Harry?" Ron asked, concerned.
Ron then noticed that Albert was also clutching his head in pain.
"What's happening to you two? Tell me!" Ron demanded, alarmed.
After a few minutes, the dizziness subsided, and both Harry and Albert's heartbeats returned to normal.
Harry spoke first, "My name's Harry Potter."
Albert followed, "I'm Albert Black."
Harry was surprised by Albert's calm demeanor. Most people who recognized him as the famous Harry Potter, the boy who defeated Voldemort as an infant, were excited and often asked for his autograph.
Ron chimed in, "Do you have any family, Albert? Because when I saw you in Diagon Alley, you were alone."
Albert lowered his gaze before responding, "Well, my entire family was killed shortly after I was born by Voldemort. My mother died protecting me, and my father... he's in prison now. He was wrongfully imprisoned, accused of helping Voldemort."
Harry and Ron listened to Albert's words with deep sympathy.
"I'm really sorry to hear that, Albert. I had no idea your life was so tough," Ron said, his voice full of compassion.
Listening quietly nearby was a girl named Hermione, who had overheard Albert's story. She felt sorry for Albert, even though she had only caught parts of the conversation.
