Chapter 72: SYLUS: I Want To Make You Mine

"What do you mean?" I asked, glancing over at Harley who was staring at me with a frown. 

"Not that I care," she began. "But why are you being so prissy?"  

"Prissy?" 

"You know what I'm talking about." She rolled her eyes at me before reaching for the seatbelt.  

Of course, I knew what she was referring to. Although I knew it wasn't exactly her fault that she would try to divorce me without at least telling me, it was still frustrating to think about. 

Harley was just… I just don't understand why it was always so hard when it came to me. It was so easy for her to ask my brother for help, even tell him what she couldn't tell me, but when it came to me, she suddenly couldn't? To the extent of not even being willing to tell me she was planning on serving a damn divorce paper on me before our deal ends. 

How could I not be mad? But then again, she wouldn't care even if she knew. It was Sylus, why should she?
