Chapter 33: HARLEY: Kiss

"Drop your act, I know you are in this insanity with your father. Leave my brother alone while I'm still being nice." Stacy spoke through tight lips, reaching to fist the front of my shirt. 

I stepped back and glared at her. "In case you are unaware, I never wanted to marry your brother. If you need more information, ask him. Don't stand there and try to blame me for—"  

"Stop." 

Sylus mumbled, and I looked at him. He was staring past me at something, and I turned, stopping short at the reporters who had already filled the front of the restaurants, their cameras on.  

Shit!

I immediately forced a smile to stay on my lips and glanced at Stacy, who was also doing the same. Every one of us was smiling, even Mr. Jones, and we gave a slight wave before Sylus stood up from his seat. He walked over to me and grabbed my hand, interlocking his fingers with mine.  

"There is no need to be nervous," he said.

"I'm not nervous. Mind your business."
