Chapter 28: SYLUS: A Jealous Man

Fire burned up my throat.  

Who the hell was that man to touch her, to hold her hand? No, why the heck did she even allow it? He clearly liked her, he was blushing at her. I knew Harley wasn't blind, she definitely knew! 

"Sylus?" Harley seemed genuinely surprised, clearly not sure why I was acting this way. And even I had no idea. 

How would I know? All she did was get into my head, drive me nuts, and try to turn me into something I have never been. She was making me crazy, and unless I shut her out, I was eventually going to lose my mind to this woman. 

I shoved back from her and ran a hand through my hair. She eyed me from head to toe and tilted her head at me. "Are you…are you seriously jealous?" 

"What?" A mask of irritation painted my face immediately. "What the fuck do you mean by that?"
