Chapter 19: SYLUS: Stop Touching Him!

My gaze sailed over to Harley, my eyes lingering on her. Should I tell Emilia? But our marriage hadn't been made public, and we had no intention of doing that, not when the whole sham was going to come to an end in two months. Gossip ran too easily, and even if not from Emilia, it could start from somewhere. 

I looked back to my personal assistant. "Mind your business, Emilia." It was that simple, I didn't need her poking her nose into my personal life. 

I felt a burning gaze, driving knives into my head, and before I could react, her voice thundered. 

"Stop it." 

Emilia's eyes widened at Harley with confusion. "Um…stop what?"  

"Stop touching him!"
