Chapter 89: 89. A set

I can't stop looking at the ring. It's just so beautiful and I don't know why I feel so fulfilled wearing it. Even as we're driving back home, I can't help staring at his hand and then staring back at my own, then blushing happily because I like it so much.

"Duke,"

He takes his eyes off the road for a quick second and stares my way, "Hmm?" He hums then faces the road once more.

"I've decided I'm going to attend my aunt's birthday party."

Once again, his gaze shifts from the road in front of him to me as he asks, "You want to attend the party?"

"Hmm." I nod and he faces the road before us again. "No matter how much I think about it, I think it's better if I attend."
