Chapter 15: -Fleet Battle-
"Yamato, Nagato, Hiei, Kirishima, and other heavy cruisers are to launch a decisive fleet battle against the enemy aircraft carrier force off the coast of Hawaii and destroy them."
Orders have come to destroy the enemy in a fleet battle.
However, it would take a long time to reach the enemy's aircraft carrier, and the only concern of the command staff was that the enemy would bomb them in the meantime.
I was worried about that too, so I decided to have Akizuki-class and Fubuki-class destroyers accompany the fleet.
It will be able to accompany fleets of fast battleships and heavy cruisers with a maximum speed of 30 knots.

"Commander! Eight hours left until the enemy fleet comes within range!!"
There was no guarantee that they wouldn't be attacked during the next eight hours, but the main fleet was surrounded by Akizuki-class destroyers equipped with new radars, so if an enemy approached they would be picked up immediately by the radar.
"Load the main gun shells and re-inspect the rotation gear immediately, and be on high anti-aircraft and anti-submarine alert!!"
Who would have thought that a fleet battle would really take place on the Yamato...?
- Moscow, Soviet Union -
While the Imperial Navy was fighting hard in the Pacific, a ceasefire treaty between Japan and the Soviet Union was concluded in Moscow.
The invading Soviet forces suffered heavy losses and quickly requested a ceasefire from the Kwantung Army.
Japan welcomed this as it would allow them to concentrate on fighting the United States.
The conditions are
- Non-aggression of the territories of the Soviet Union and Japan
- Rapid conversion of prisoners
- Return of parts of Manchuria controlled by the Soviet Union
- The Kwantung Army retreats to Manchuria
None of these were bad conditions, so no one opposed.
The treaty, signed at the Japanese Embassy, came to be known as the Moscow Peace Treaty.
However, Stalin, who had proposed the ceasefire himself, had no intention of abiding by the treaty.
-A fishing port on the Shiretoko Peninsula in Hokkaido-
"Now, it's time to go out fishing for today!!"
"Dad! You're going to take me fishing today too!!"
"Yes! Of course! Bring me the net and rods quickly."
One day, this peaceful fishing port, which seemed hard to believe was in wartime, changed completely.
"Dad, something is coming from offshore?"
When the boy's father looks out to sea, he sees something cutting through the water and approaching the fishing port.
"Is that a whale? It's too thin and fast."
"Dad, it must be a marlin."
"You idiot! There's no way there'd be a marlin around here!"
That "something" cut through the water and entered the fishing port.
"It's scary! Let's run away!"
"Yeah, get off the boat! Hurry!"
BOOM!!!
Suddenly, an explosion echoed through the peaceful fishing port.
Fireballs rained down on the houses and the area turned into hell.
It was clearly a lightning strike.
