Chapter 26: Save them all

"Dad... So, I can explain. I brought him home, let's keep him, okay?"

"..." Her father was rendered speechless.

Dimitri was on board with him being kept by Adeline.

This was the first time she brought home a guy in her two lifetimes. 

In the study, he carefully listened to Adeline's explanation. From discovering her powers to the task given to her by the Goddess to save Dimitri. 

Immediately the strange boy in his home wasn't his biggest issue. He didn't have time to reprimand her for sneaking out at night... What should he do?

Anyone from the temple would be able to sense the healing powers on her, if she were to ever encounter them, many problems would arise. His daughter might be taken away from them.

The only good thing was that the temple didn't let them go out and treat people, however rich or poor they had to come to them for treatment. The chances of Adeline having an encounter with them were rare.
