Qin Hai furrowed his brow and asked again, "Qin Sheng took first place in the mathematics competition with a perfect score, breaking the record. Did you know this?" 

His sharp gaze bore into Qin Churou, scrutinizing her every reaction. 

At the time, the leading teacher at the school had immediately announced the good news upon their return, so of course, Qin Churou was aware. 

But she dared not let Qin Hai find out. 

Qin Churou feigned shock, "Father, did my sister really take first place?" 

Qin Hai nodded. 

Qin Churou displayed a look of surprise, "That's wonderful! I didn't expect my sister didn't cheat, now I can finally feel at ease."
