Chapter 1: Chapter 1 Isekai
'I have to get up…'
A small girl with golden blonde hair laid face first on the floor. She was barely conscious. Doing her best to stay awake.
~Step~Step~Step~
'I need to move…'
Tried as she might, the child failed to move an inch.
~Step~Step~Step~
The footsteps neared her, she didn't have the strength to turn her head to look at the owner of those steps.
…
The footsteps stopped right next to her.
"Ara? What's a child doing so far down in the dungeon?" The voice she heard was angelic, like she was hearing the words of a goddess. She continued to try and move but kept failing.
"It seems you're in a bit of trouble, little one. Don't worry! This big sister will take care of you!"
And with those words, exhaustion took over her body and she fell into a deep sleep.

-10 Years Ago-
"NOOOO!!! So many summons and I didn't even get proto Merlin! These rates suck!" A woman screamed out. She threw her phone to the side of the bed while stuffed her face into her pillow.
"This day couldn't get any worse!"
~HONK~HONK~
"Huh?"
The woman looked outside her window just to see the blinding headlights of a semi-truck barreling at full speed at her.
"WHAT?!"
~CRASH~
…
"Auugghh… I survived? I'm gonna sue that driver to oblivion!"
She lifted herself off the ground and noticed long strands of white hair in front of her face.
"Huh?" She reached out and grabbed the strands of hair and gave it a gentle tug. She felt her hair being pulled.
"I never dyed my hair… Wait" As she noticed her newly colored hair she also now noticed the change in her voice. This voice sounded very beautiful and she knew very well that it didn't belong to her.
She picked herself up and looked around. She was surrounded by forest with a small pond nearby. She was confused of where she was, she questioned how she ended up here. Shouldn't she be in a hospital or a funeral casket?
But she was most baffled when she looked down. The clothes she was wearing were strange yet familiar, it looked like she was cosplaying but what took her attention the most were her breasts!
"My breasts grew! Finally!"
She brought up her hands and started to feel her breasts. Tears rolled down her eyes.
"I'm no longer a flat board…"
After a good while she stopped touching herself and went back to looking around and figuring out how she ended up here. She slowly approached the pond so she could look at herself. She immediately recognized the face on the reflection but it wasn't her own.
'Isn't this proto Merlin!'
She was so shocked by her body's sudden change that she needed a few minutes to calm down. When she was calm, she sat down on a fallen log.
"I get hit by a truck then I end up in a random forest inside a different body. This is no doubt an isekai"
Tears began to form in her eyes. She fell to her knees and punched the ground.
"Dammit! There were so many novels and anime I never got to finish! What about my gacha games!? I spent too much money on them just for me to die! AHH my anime figures that I paid good money for are going to get trashed! AHHHH DAMN YOU TRUCK!!"
She cried for about an hour, when finished she got up and wiped away the tears.
'Since this is an isekai I'm no doubt in another world. I should figure out where civilization is if there is any'
She began walking through the forest with no destination in mind, she only wanted to get out of the forest. After a while she made it to the edge of the forest and entered a great plain. She continued walking, as she walked she was thinking that since she was now Merlin she should have her powers right?
She wished to summon the staff that Merlin uses and like muscle memory she held her right hand forward and a white staff with a large blue gem at the end of it appeared in her hand.
'Alright!' Now how do I use magecraft?'
Once more muscle memory kicked in and she aimed her staff forward and a bright beam shot out into the distance. A blinding explosion happened that caused her to cover her eyes. When she looked at the aftermath she saw a smoking crater.
"Whoops…"
'I guess I need to learn how to use my abilities'
She slowly walked away from the destruction she caused. She decided she would explore her abilities later but first she wanted to find any form of civilization. She wasn't so keen as to sleep outside, in the dark, in a foreign world. So she kept walking aimlessly hoping she would get lucky.
And lucky she was. She had found a dirt road with obvious tracks. She didn't know whether to go up or down the path so she just went forward. She walked and walked, the sun was beginning to set so she quickened her steps and as the sky darkened she saw numerous lights off in the distance.
"People!"
She rushed forward and as she got closer she got a good look of the place. A typical medieval fantasy village and a large one at that. She walked up to the village's wooden walls towards the gate where two guards were stationed.
Both guards saw her and were stunned by her beauty.
"Hello!"
The guards didn't respond and continued to stare. She waved her hands infront of the closest guard's face.
"Ummm.. Hello!"
The guards snapped out of their trance.
"Ah forgive me for my impoliteness" One of them bowed his head a little.
"It's alright. Can I enter the village?"
"Yes but first I must ask your name and your purpose here"
She put her hand on her chin and closed her eyes for a few seconds. Then she reopened her eyes.
"My name is Merlin, I'm a wandering traveler. I want to stay in this village for tonight" She gave a simple introduction and explanation.
The guards nodded to one another. She didn't seem dangerous, they thought, not knowing that they had been charmed. So, they gladly let her in.
She walked through the streets of the village that resembled more of a small town but now she had a new problem.
'I don't have money'
Night had almost taken the sky, and she didn't have any money to buy a room at any inn that she finds. Then a drunk man suddenly approached her and started trying to flirt with her. A smile bloomed on her face as she had an idea.
After giving him a rather suggestive idea she lured him into a dark alley.
~WACK~THUMP~
Merlin emerged from the alleyway tossing a bag of coins in her hands.
'I can't believe that worked! He had quite a lot of money, though I don't know how currency works here so I don't know if it's actually a lot'
After asking some people passing by for directions to an inn, she arrived at said inn. Luckily the manager of the place was still at the counter. She rented a room for the night that cost 20 valis and gave the man the money. She managed to give him the correct amount on her first attempt which made her happy since she didn't have to embarrass herself and ask him how to count money.
Merlin entered her room and sat on the bed.
'First day not so bad, this world will definitely be fun!'
