Chapter 54: Spiritual illusions

They didn't meet anyone for seven days. Because, the time table here was all messed up. People worked during night time and slept during day time.

And Asher and Rose were the opposite. That made their time difference really prominent. Rose was still healing. Her body wasn't normal and she still felt drained. She could walk and run but she couldn't do any magic spell.

She understood that the illusion sucked her magic. She shuddered thinking what it could do if it determined that someone was an enemy. That illusion was the first line of defense in the Moon Charmers community.

She later learned that there was another barrier that protected the city.

She still liked to visit the city during the day. Asher followed her most of the time. But sometimes he had to check out the situation at the company.

Brian was telling him everything and apparently, some people wanted to take over the company and their movements were increasing.
