Ariel was sure Eva felt like killing her, but she quickly masked her emotions and smiled sweetly at Aiden.

"Ah, yes, she was my best friend in high school, Mr. Chaz...I'm just surprised and happy to see her again after so long," Eva replied softly, looking at Ariel and feeling her heart twisting in pain.

As Eva left Aiden's office, she gripped the catalog tightly in her hand, anger eating her up from the inside.

This was impossible, how did Ariel end up as Aiden's secretary? How did she even get the qualification that made her fit to become Aiden's secretary?!

Also, she had been sure that Ariel wouldn't survive in the hands of those kidnappers, but somehow, she had managed to survive them. But then, she heard about her forced marriage with some unknown son of the Chaz and was also happy that Ariel was finally tied down and out of the way.

But right now, she couldn't believe what she had seen inside Aiden's office.
