The darkness engulfs Scott, wrapping around him like a cocoon, as he feels his consciousness slipping away.
A swirling vortex of energy surrounds him, pulling him deeper into the void. Time becomes distorted, the moments stretching and warping until it feels like an eternity has passed.
And then, in an instant, Vincent's eyes fly open, and he gasps for breath. He finds himself lying in a bed, half propped up, surrounded by furniture
that looked fancy.
Confusion and disbelief washed over him as he looked at his small hands, struggling to make sense of his surroundings.
Surges of memories flood his mind, as he grasps at the nemories, piecing them together with a mix of shock and fascination.
The memories are not his own but belong to the body he now inhabits—his new name was Vincent Nightshade..
It turns out that the previous owner of the body, is the new head of this house.
The previous Vincent's father, Lord Victor Nightshade, had died from old age. Which resulted in the heir to take his place as the new head.
But thats not what intrigued Vincent, it was his families background what intrigued him the most.
When Aegon the Conqueror came to unite the Seven Kingdoms, every house bowed before him, except dor Dorne and his house.
The Nightshades, specifically the head of the house, wielded a strange power. It's details was kept a secret from everyone. They just knew the basics of it.
Looking through his memories, his father explained it to him breifly. Saying that he will learn more as he inherites his powrs, after he passes away.
This power resembled Sung Jin-Woo's powers from Solo Leveling Vincent.
Vincent's gaze which was filled with excitment, though they also had sadness in them. He was sad that he wouldnt be able to meet his wife and daughter ever again. But he was also excited that he is now in one of his favourite tv series.
Shaking his head, he decided to put the negative emotions away. Since, the being had said that his family are in a better place now.
As he was getting accustomed to his new life, the door of the room opens, and a man of stoic demeanor and polished elegance. This is Alfred, the butler who has faithfully served his family for a long time.
'He even looked like Alfred from batman.'
Alfred then approaches Vincent, then says: "My Lord, I am relieved to see you awaken," Then continues, "I trust your slumber was restful?'
Vincent takes a moment, to respond. He wanted to recreate the previous owner's personality. To not arous suspicion. Which, fortunately closely resembled his personality.
"Since my father's passing, I've not been able to sleep." he says, his voice tinged with sadness.
Of course, this was all an act. Why would he even be attached to someone he hardly knows.
Alfred's eyes softend as he looked at Vincent. And then said,"No one can escape death, my lord. " he explains, his tone steady and reassuring.
"I know Alfred, I just need time." Vincent replied.
