Chapter 90: Ch 91: Bringing a man home

"Lisa, this is no time to be distracted like this. You need to serve customers, right? If you keep behaving like this, we will have many complaints."

Rumin did not want to scold Lisa, but he had no choice this time. He could not have Lisa be lost in her thoughts when she served customers, especially when she took ten minutes to hand someone their coffee.

Most of their customers were too polite (or scared of Alpha Rose) to say anything, but Rumin could tell that they all wanted to speak up and ask Lisa to hurry up.

He did not know what had happened, but Lisa looked slightly distracted when she returned from her break.

Something must have happened when she went out after that officer duo. However, since Lisa had not said anything, he did not want to press her to reveal the issue. 

"Ah, sorry! I did not realize I took this long to give out these orders. I will be more careful next time."
