Chapter 46: Ch 46: Shall we get going?

Lisa thought the harassment would stop after Emma left. However, the glances others shot toward Lisa continued even after classes ended.

She could feel how people kept looking at her when she went out, making Lisa self-conscious.

"Do you want me to take care of these people for you?"

Emma finally asked, her eyes moving to look back at the offenders lurking too close to Lisa.

The older could tell Lisa did not feel comfortable with all this attention focused on her. 

"No, it's fine! They don't bother me much."

Lisa stopped Emma before the older lost her temper. She knew that Emma would not do anything to harm humans, but she did not want to take the risk.

Emma made an unhappy face at being stopped, but she no longer went after the kids.

Instead, Emma walked toward her car and held her door open so Lisa could sit down. That made all the students following Lisa pause and pretend they were not paying attention to her.
