Chapter 113: WHY DID YOU HURT ME?

It surprised Rose slightly when the king refused her advance, she stopped walking toward him and stood a few steps away from where he was sitting. He looked regal, like the king he was.

Rose controlled her emotions and started talking with light voice, concealing all the thoughts she had for the king.

"King Dacre, I didn't upset the queen, she is still my little sister, with the baby on the way, I will never try to intentionally do any harm to her, but…" she paused, gauging the king's reaction. "I think she is jealous with our interaction earlier and now she wanted to send me back."

Dacre nodded his head and his next respond left Rose speechless. "If she wanted to send you back, someone will prepare a carriage for you."

"King Dacre!" Rose was mortified. She didn't expect this answer at all. "I came here with a purpose, if you sent me back your action will not look good on my father."
