Chapter 28: MONSTER HUNT

"Someone is here to deliver a letter for you," Caiden said, as he handed Khaos a letter. The room was dim, with only the faint glow of the luminous pearls on the walls providing meager illumination for the dirty cell, where they put their prisoners.

Shawn was still breathing. He was one of the elders of the River Creek pack. They had been trying to extract information from him and so far, he had spilled all the information he knew hoping to save his life.

Little did he know, the moment he was captured by them, his life ended right there and then. It was only a matter of time before Khaos lost his patience and killed him.

"Luna Zuri's personal maid apparently is here to deliver the letter personally. What do you think it is about" Caiden asked, as he watched Khaos open the letter. He tried to peek from the corner of his eyes. "What is it? What did she say?"
