Chapter 35: Concern for Violet

Ash hated seeing Violet like this. More than he hated sharing her. The immense guilt he felt after this ceremony was much worse than the last. She didn't look as bad as last time, but he knew her better, he cared about her even. Now it was different, all of it was different. Ash didn't know if he would be able go through this again next month, but he also didn't think he could handle losing her either. He was so conflicted with his feelings. He'd tear the world apart to keep her safe and by his side.

Oliver looks at Violet his heart heavy seeing her like this too.

"Let's get her to the bath and get her cleaned up." Oliver said.

"Yeah, she looks pathetic like this and it's pissing me off." Ash said.

"I know me too, I want it to end but I don't want to lose her." Oliver sympathized with Ash's feelings about Violet. He was starting to love her too. It wasn't just about sex and making more purebloods and having a mate. It was also about her now.
