Chapter 84: Chapter 84 Something to Say

Freya’s P.O.V

“This is the second time I saw her.” I inhaled a shaky breath. “In a mirror…she’s always in a mirror…like she’s trapped…”

“Do you remember anything specific about her, Freya?” Maggie asked while placing a chilled can of coke in my hands. “Anything that may have seemed out of the ordinary?”

“Her eyes were bleeding. And she tried to reach for me.” I swallowed past the lump in my throat. “It scared the crap out of me and I just…ran.”

“It’s not your fault.” Cameron placed his hand on my shoulder in support. “You were scared.”

I nodded, fighting back the tears that I had been holding back for so long. “What’s going on, Maggie?” I turned to ask her. “She had died six years ago, right after my brother was born. I had never seen or felt her presence ever since…but today, when I saw her in that mirror…with blood dripping down her cheeks and she was reaching out as if to grab me…it felt like someone was there with me! Am I hallucinating?”
