After the infusion process, the lab buzzed with excitement and anticipation.
Logan inspected his new claws, and the glistening Mysterium claws filled his view. Hank quickly approached with a handheld scanner, the device humming softly as it began analyzing the properties of the newly fused metal.
Hank's eyes were glued to the monitor, observing the readings closely. He nodded approvingly as the data streamed in, his expression one of deep satisfaction. "The process is a success," he announced, his voice filled with a mix of relief and pride.
Before anyone could react, Laura leapt into Logan's arms, wrapping her legs around his waist. She kissed him passionately, her joy and relief evident in the way she held him tightly.
Logan responded in kind, his arms enveloping her, holding her close even as his claws remained extended.
After a moment, they pulled apart, and Logan's eyes found Jean. A slight blush colored her cheeks, but she stepped forward bravely and planted a soft kiss on his cheek.
The gesture was sweet and shy, a promise of what was to come. Logan's relationship with Jean was blossoming, steadily growing stronger each day. He knew that soon, she would not only be his in name but also in every other way.
"Alright, lovebirds, let's get down to business," Hank interrupted with a chuckle, breaking the moment. "It's time to test those claws properly."
The group quickly made their way to the training room, a spacious area already set up with an array of sophisticated scanning machines and reinforced testing equipment. Logan stood in the center, his new claws fully extended, while Hank, Laura, Jean, and Selene positioned themselves at a safe distance behind a protective barrier. Hank busied himself with the controls, monitoring Logan's vitals and energy output on several screens.
"Okay, Logan," Hank called out, his eyes fixed on the monitors. "Begin the test."
Logan nodded, He raised his right arm and brought his claws down with a powerful slash against a thick steel alloy. The Mysterium claws sliced through the metal effortlessly, as if it were mere paper. Sparks flew as the alloy fell in two, the clean cut glinting in the overhead lights.
"Now let's test the claws against some other materials."
Logan continued to slash through various materials—Some alloys and even complex composites. Each one met the same fate as the steel alloy, easily cut in half with a single swipe of Logan's claws. The Mysterium metal, combined with Logan's immense strength, seemed to make his claws virtually unstoppable.
"Incredible! The durability is off the charts." Hank said while looking at the readings. Everyone thought you don't have to tell that by looking at the monitor just see around and you'll know.
Next, Hank switched the test to laser durability. High-energy lasers fired at Logan from different angles, but he skillfully deflected them with his claws, each beam splitting apart as it made contact with the Mysterium. The scanners recorded no damage or wear, even under the intense heat and energy of the lasers.
"Alright, now for the important part," Hank said, switching to a new set of controls. "Let's see how your kinetic energy abilities interact with the Mysterium."
Logan took a step back, focusing his mind. He felt the familiar surge of energy course through his body and into his claws. As he slashed through the air, beams of three pure energy slashs shot out from hai claws, leaving trails of light that crackled and sparked.
"There's no negative influence from the Mysterium on your kinetic energy," Hank observed, his eyes scanning the data. "In fact, it seems to act as a near-perfect conductor. This metal really is something else."
Now it was Selene and Laura's turn to test Logan's new claws. Selene conjured a series of magical barriers and defensive spells around the training room. Laura fired off bolts of mystical energy, and Selene followed with waves of magical force. Logan slashed through them all with ease, his Mysterium claws cutting through the magic as if it were tangible, solid matter.
"The claws now can even cut through magical energy," Selene remarked, impressed. "Now you don't have to worry about magical beings."
Laura grinned. "It looks like you're invincible now, Logan."
Logan smirked at the compliment, retracting his claws as the last of the magical energy dissipated.
Selene approached him with a thoughtful look in her eyes. "There's just one more thing we need to address," she said, "As we discussed previously, While Mysterium gives your claws anti-magic properties, it's still susceptible to magnetic influence. We need to make sure you're fully protected."
Selene stepped closer to Logan and began chanting softly, her hands moving in intricate patterns. As she spoke, small rune marks began to appear on the back of Logan's hands, glowing with a faint blue light. The runes pulsed with energy, binding themselves to his skin.
"These runes are infused with your energy, Logan," Selene explained as she finished the spell. "They'll negate any magnetic influence on your claws. Because magic energy can't flow through you due to the Mysterium, these runes are designed to operate on your own energy instead."
Logan flexed his hands, watching the runes shimmer and settle into his skin. "So, they're like a safeguard?" he asked.
"Exactly," Selene replied with a nod. "You'll have to activate them using your own energy, once you do, they'll neutralize any magnetic fields trying to influence your claws."
Logan nodded in understanding, a determined smile spreading across his face. "Good. That means I can cut through anything, anytime, without worrying about interference."
Jean, watching from the side, felt a surge of admiration and excitement for Logan, her feelings for him grew with each day.
"Now, let's test that runes now, shall we." Hank without warning activated the giant magnet beside him.
Logan who isn't ready and didn't activated his runes was pulled into the direction of the magnet, he resisted with his physical strength and soon channeled his energy in the runes.
Soon, he felt the influence gone.
"Now that's calls for a party," Laura smiles as she then jumped on the back of Logan, who caught her by her ass and gave her piggyback ride.
"It certainly calls for it and Logan I'm going to take a break for a while, and I swear don't you dare give me another crazy project for sometime." Hank looked at Logan seriously.
"Like hell you didn't enjoy doing it." Logan's reply brought smile to all as they head out to celebrate.

**Location: Logan's House**
The cozy living room of Logan's house was alive with laughter and conversation. Logan, Laura, Jean, Hank, and Selene sat in sofas in the living room, enjoying a spread of food and drinks. The air was filled with the scent of freshly baked bread, wine and roasted meat, adding warmth and comfort to the gathering.
Logan leaned back in his chair, a content smile on his face as he observed his friends. They had been discussing various topics, ranging from the latest advancements in Hank's scientific experiments to the magical defenses Selene had set up around Whitehaven.
"Selene," Logan said, breaking through the chatter, "I've been thinking about our pack's defenses. We've got all these new abilities, but we could use some better protection. Could you create almost indestructible suits for the pack? Something that can withstand both physical and magical attacks?"
Selene sipped her wine thoughtfully. "That's quite a request, Logan, but I think it's possible. With the right materials and enchantments, I could craft suits that would be nearly impenetrable. I might even use some of that rare metal we talked about, along with a few other magical enhancements."
Laura perked up at this. "We could name these werewolves who can use magic as Zetas," she said, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "You know, like a special designation for our enhanced magic werewolves. The Zetas could be our elite magic force."
Logan nodded, pleased with the idea. "That sounds perfect. Zetas – it has a nice ring to it."
As the conversation continued, Logan found himself glancing at Laura and Jean. They were both seated across from him, their expressions animated as they engaged in a lively debate about the tactical advantages of combining physical combat skills with magical abilities.
His eyes drifted down for a moment, noticing the difference in their physiques. Laura, with her toned athletic build, had a chest that fits in his hands perfectly. Jean, on the other hand, was bigger than Laura's . He couldn't help but appreciate the beauty each of them possessed, each in their own unique way.
"Logan?" Jean's voice brought him back to the present. She had caught his gaze and was looking at him with a playful smirk. "Are you paying attention?"
Logan chuckled, trying to play it off. "Yeah, yeah, just lost in thought for a second. Just appreciating the strength and beauty of my pack."
Laura gave him a playful nudge. "Sure, you were. Maybe you should focus on the task at hand, Logan, instead of getting distracted," she teased.
Jean blushed at the subtle compliment but couldn't help but smile.
Logan chuckled, shaking his head.
The group continued to laugh and talk late into the night, the room filling with the warmth of camaraderie. Tonight, they celebrated their unity, their strength, and the exciting future that lay before them.
The party continued late into the night, with stories, laughter, and plans for the next steps.

**Location: Whitehaven, Logan's House**
A few months had passed since Logan's pack had settled into a period of calm, with nothing particularly noteworthy occurring within their ranks.
However, the outside world was far from peaceful. The human world had almost plunged into another devastating war, only to be averted at the last moment by Charles Xavier and his group of mutants.
A new player had emerged on the scene: a mutant named Donald Pierce, who dubbed himself the White King and formed a faction known as the Hellfire Club. With this group, he began recruiting other mutants with the intent of inciting another war and taking control.
During a fierce battle with the Hellfire Club, Charles and Erik managed to contain the situation but not without heavy cost.
They had initially come to Logan for assistance, hoping he would lend his considerable strength and abilities to their cause. However, Logan, wary of the chaos that always seemed to follow the X-Men in every version, opted not to join them directly. Instead, he sent a select few of his pack members to aid in the battle.
Logan sent his team of betas with a calculated strategy. He knew of a mutant named Darwin, who possessed the incredible ability to adapt to any threat or environment. Logan believed that if he could acquire Darwin's DNA and combine it with his own, he would become virtually unstoppable.
He remembered Darwin's tragic end at the hands of Sebastian Shaw in the movie "X-Men: First Class," but with Shaw long dead and his body disposed of, Logan was convinced Darwin's death was not as straightforward as it seemed.
Logan was skeptical about Darwin's supposed death in the current timeline as well. In his mind, someone with Darwin's abilities shouldn't be able to die so easily.
With this in mind, he dispatched Emily, a Zeta werewolf and the assistant of Laura, and a few other trusted pack members to join Charles.
The battle unfolded much as Logan had anticipated, it followed the timeline of first class movie, with Erik ultimately killing Donald Pierce and forming his own faction, the Brotherhood. Charles also lost the ability to walk in the battle.
Reports from Emily, however, confirmed that Darwin had been killed, some mutant placed bomb inside his body making his explode from within—a ridiculous and most stupid way to die and seemingly avoidable fate, according to Logan.
But there was a silver lining. Emily, always resourceful, had managed to secure a sample of Darwin's DNA—some hair and blood collected during a medical test.
Logan, now holding what could potentially be the key to his ultimate evolution, wasted no time in heading to Hank and Selene for their expertise.

**Location: Hank McCoy's House**
Hank McCoy was enjoying a rare moment of tranquility in his home, flipping through a book on advanced genetics.
Hank McCoy was enjoying the rare peace, relishing a few months without having to work on some new serum or genetic experiment.
That tranquility was shattered when Logan arrived at his doorstep along with selene with a grin that Hank had come to recognize all too well.
"Damn it, Logan," Hank groaned, already sensing that his peaceful days were numbered. "Can't you just give me a few years of peace?"
Logan chuckled, his smile growing wider. "If you knew what I had here, you might react differently."
As Logan settled into a chair, Selene moved to stand beside him, her eyes twinkling with curiosity. Hank sensed that whatever they were about to discuss was significant.
"Alright, let's hear it," Hank said, leaning forward.
He then proceeded to explain the situation, revealing the DNA sample of Darwin and explaining his adaptive powers.
The reaction from Hank and Selene was immediate and electric. The possibility of harnessing Darwin's unique ability was too tantalizing to resist.
If used correctly, this could signify a new leap in their evolution. With newfound enthusiasm, Hank and Selene dove into their research, eager to unlock the secrets of Darwin's DNA.

(A/N: Guys, should I add some powers for Laura, as she can also take the serum from the DNA of other mutants to obtain their powers, or should I focus on magic route.
