Zina had officially hit an all time low by using Daemon's words against him, but surprisingly, the fire in his eyes cooled as his hand caressed her chin, tilting her head up as if to get her to properly look at him.

"Of course I trust you Zina."

The gods. Just who was this man and what would she do with all the things that he was doing to her? All the emotions that he was causing her to feel? Just what would she do?

Zina smiled, but even she could feel as though it was strained. "Then please, do not attempt to find more about this. Believe that I've got everything under control."

Her words were an earnest plea, but against the thing that resembled like hurt that travelled in his eyes, she wasn't so sure anymore if she was doing the right thing
