Chapter 37: Overpowering might (finale)

Chased as they ran, a majestic structure soon came into view.

The structure appeared similar to a rectangular fortress as it had thick walls, massive gates, and towers. 

It was extremely eye catching as every inch of it seemed to be made of some kind of enchanted material that radiated a faint, milky white glow.

Although it was past midnight and two paranormal phenomena were on full display in the Darkwood Forest, the structure couldn't be hidden, visible to all in its surroundings. 

Its surface was unmarred, untouched by the decay and corruption of the forest surrounding it, indicating that power beyond comprehension protected it.

A grand staircase, wide enough to fit a hundred men side by side, led to its grand entrance.

Its entrance was marked by massive stone doors, carved with defensive runes that had held strong against the evil of the forest since it was built.

This was the Temple of the Gods.
