Having spend the night at his grandmother's residence, he wasn't used to it. Though the place was far much better than then cabin he stayed at in the Wang clan Training Camp, he just wasn't usee to it. He tossed the entire night, but after waking up, he could not help but admire the beauty of the courtyard.
It was much more pleasing to the eye, with bamboo trees growing on all sides of the house. A small route was in the middle of the bamboo, created by well cut pavements. A field about fifty meters in radius, with flowers on the edge of the field.
He was even able to see carrots growing on the right and left side of the courtyard.
He washed his face, and them pulled one carrot from the ground, before bitting into it.
"Hmm! Not bad! I wonder if my grandparents are raising rabbits or something?" He murmured as he walked towards the large field with a wooden saber.
Just like before, his practice was becoming more and more sophisticated, but he mainly repeated the five movements.
His saber was getting faster and faster.
He then spend most of the time on the Inverse Heavens move, as it was that only one of the five he could actually use.
He had practiced continuously, until, he was close to attain completion stage in the inverse Heavens.
"I wonder what happens if the five moves are fused together? We should wait and see in the future." He thought to himself.
Even when the sun came up, he didn't stop practicing, rather he changed to the Nameless Scripture.
Some of the movements seemed to resemble Tai Chi from his previous life, but each seemed far grand. Just practicing this technique made him feel invigorated.
A strange force kept brewing and spreading all over his body. Whenever he made a move, it spread out the strange force along his body, making it feel warm.
It was a shame it disappeared after it passed through his bones and internal organs. But he could feel he had become stronger.
Just like that, he continued to practice the Nameless Scripture in a lot of bizarre positions.
When the sun rose, light shone on his body. He didn't even stop, but continued to play until he heard movements coming his direction. He turned his head and his eyes narrowed slightly, as for the reason, it was the woman that had just appeared. She probably made movement intentionally to alert him of her presence.
He could see that the had her face covered with a black mask. Only the part above her nose was visible. One might think she was a ninja. She had no sense of presence. If he had not seen her, he couldn't believe someone was actually standing before him.
She didn't even waste time trying to introduce herself.
"Little Young master! Mistress asked me to take you to the Lotus Pond to select a pebble from the stream flowing by the pavillion." She was straight to the point.
He could already be said to he mature and aware of not asking what he shouldn't . That was even more so, when he spend more time with Cai Yue that witch.
But he still asked something, "What is this lotus pond you are taking about?"
He was wondering why he was called the little young master until he realized that his grandparents also had a child. If his father was present, he would probably be called youngmaster.
Being his Wang Chen's son, it was good enough to still have this Young master adress added to his tittle.
"The Lotus pond is a place where created herself and the pebbles inside were also collected personally." Listening to the Musk's woman's words, he had some confusion on his face.
"Don't tell me that grandmother of mine belives in superstitions even with how strong her cultivation is?'' he thought as he followed behind the woman silently.
The woman said be could only chose one pebble. He was wondering what made the pebbles so important that one could only pick up one, but then he remembered that his mother also had a necklace. It didn't match her aesthetics.
For her to be wearing it, meant it was something of sentimental value. Now that he heard about pebbles, he instantly connected it.
He was wondering the benefits of obtaining such pebbles. But the more he thought about it, nothing couldn't be said to come to mind. He could just go personally and check it out.
Soon he arrived at a stream, and he could see some rocks, extending from the water surface. But that was not important, as he saw the woman extending her hand out in a pointing gesture.
Clearly she was saying, "Go on!"
He took a step foward and could see in the shallow waters colourful pebbles of various sizes were present. He than remembered the woman's instructions to pick one, and he wasn't going to rush.
He didn't even understand why his grandmother was having him choose some pebbles in this place.
Some distance from where he was, a larger lotus pond could be seen and the rocks extending from the water were massive. The pebbles in this place seemed to have different glows to them. On the left, a massive pavillion was standing in place, and two figures stood at the very top of the pavillion checking Wang Lu's actions.
"Wife! What do you think our grandson will choose?" Wang Chengshan asked as he held onto Mei Lin's hand.
"I don't know?" She replied as she looked down carefully.
"Actually the pebble that is chosen has never been important?" She said silently in her heart. The pebbles disns have any value by themselves, but once any is chosen, it will change and adapt based on the owner.
In other words, the value of the pebbles depends on whose hands they fall. It has no value at all, and she just passed it out to her family and descendants.
She looked at her husband and said, "You still think this pebbles are something valuable? Actually! The pebbles are only useful for one thing!"
"What is it?" Wang Chengshan was very interested in the purpose.
