Lord Cedric stormed into his chambers, his face twisted with fury. The heavy wooden door slammed behind him, rattling the walls of the lavishly decorated room. Without pausing for breath, his hand lashed out, grabbing the nearest porcelain vase and hurling it across the room. It shattered against the wall with a loud crash, shards scattering like broken dreams.

His rage was palpable, consuming him whole. For months now, he had been deprived of Elian. The thought of that beautiful, delicate creature being touched by anyone else sent him into a blind fury.

"Elian…" he growled internally, his breath coming in ragged bursts as he stormed toward the polished dresser. He grabbed the edge and overturned it with one swift motion, sending expensive trinkets and scrolls flying across the floor.
