Chapter 37: Ophelia something hides her feelings in German

Ritsuka was looking at Ophelia before he Spoke. "so your German Ophelia"

Ophelia just looked at him before she spike. "Yes why do you ask"

Ritsuka just looked at her before he spoke. "say something in German".

Ophelia just looked at him hoping her curse didn't know German. "do you know German".

Ritsuka just looked at Before he lied. "No".

As Morgan saw this, she was seating next to as he was ready to hear what Ophelia was going to say, as a heroic spirit she every language thaks to the grail.

Ophelia just looked at Ritsuka before she started to speak the words that were in her heart. "Oh Ritsuka, ich liebe dich so sehr, aber du weißt es nicht, und es ist mir zu peinlich, es laut auszusprechen, also sage ich es auf Deutsch (Oh Ritsuka, I love you so much, but you don't know it, and I'm too embarrassed to say it out loud, so I'll say it in German)"

Ritsuka just looked at her Blushing, he knew she had a crush on him but he didn't expect her to say, as then he saw the system

[ Hey Host I say perfect time to make her join the Harem, shoot you shit ]

Ritsuka just looked at Ophelia before he spoke "um should I say I know German"

Ophelia just looked at him blushing before she spoke again. "Was (what)"

As Ophelia was so shocked that what ever was going to come out her mouth it was going to be in German

Ritsuka, noticing Ophelia's shock, decided to address the situation directly. "Yes, I actually do understand German. I heard what you said."

Ophelia's eyes widened in surprise and embarrassment. Her face flushed a deep red as she tried to process his words. "W-wait, you understand me? But I thought..."

Ritsuka gave her a reassuring smile. "I didn't want to make you uncomfortable by letting you know that I understood. I just wanted to see if you were open about your feelings."

Morgan, observing the interaction, gave Ritsuka a subtle nod of approval. She could sense the sincerity in his approach. "It looks like you've managed to break through Ophelia's barriers."

Ophelia took a deep breath, trying to regain her composure. "I... I was trying to keep my feelings hidden. It's just easier to express them in a language where I don't have to worry about making mistakes."

Ritsuka stepped closer to her, his expression softening. "Ophelia, I appreciate your honesty. It means a lot to me that you feel this way. If you're comfortable, I'd like to talk more about it."

Ophelia nodded, still blushing but feeling a sense of relief. "Yes, I'd like that."

As they continued their conversation, the atmosphere lightened, and the awkwardness began to fade. Ritsuka and Ophelia talked openly, and the initial tension slowly transformed into a more genuine connection.

Morgan watched with a smile, content that things were moving in a positive direction. She appreciated Ritsuka's approach, understanding that navigating feelings and relationships could be complex, especially in their unique circumstances.

Kadoc looked at Mash, then back at Ophelia, who was still speaking rapidly in German, clearly flustered. He scratched his head in confusion before sighing, turning to Mash with an exasperated expression. "So, um, is Ophelia going to stop speaking German anytime soon? I'm trying to figure out what she's saying by Ritsuka's answers, but... I think I'm lost."

Mash giggled slightly, watching the scene unfold. "It seems like Ophelia is... a little embarrassed. And speaking German is her way of hiding it."

Kadoc shook his head, feeling more out of the loop. "Yeah, well, it's not exactly helping me. Ritsuka's blushing, so... I guess it's something intense?"

Anastasia, still holding Kadoc's chain, smirked at his confusion. "Seems like you're better off just enjoying the show. Though, I doubt anyone here could keep up with whatever's happening in Ophelia's head right now."

Kadoc muttered to himself. "Great. First, chains, now this..."

Gudako finally had enough and, unable to hold back any longer, screamed in frustration. "Oh, for the love of everything! Ophelia, for the love of all that's holy, speak English or Japanese already, goddammit!"

The entire room went silent for a moment. Ophelia froze mid-sentence, her face flushed as she stared at Gudako in surprise. Ritsuka awkwardly scratched the back of his head, while Morgan raised an amused eyebrow.

Ophelia stammered, trying to regain her composure. "I-I was just... um, I didn't mean to—"

Gudako, still exasperated, threw her hands in the air. "Yeah, yeah, we all know you're flustered, but seriously, stop driving us crazy! No one here speaks fluent German except you!"

Mash couldn't help but stifle a small laugh, while Kadoc looked relieved that someone finally voiced what he'd been thinking the whole time.

Gudako the pointed at Ritsuka. "Also you Ritsuka, how do speak and know German Especially on Ophelia level".

Ritsuka just looked at her. "I took a langues class in German in Middle school, I only did to get more marks, didn't expect to come in handy"

Gudako groaned in frustration, throwing her arms up. "Unbelievable! You took it for extra marks and now you're over here breaking poor Ophelia's heart, knowing exactly what she said! Do you have any idea how embarrassing this is for her?"

Ritsuka scratched his cheek awkwardly, giving a nervous laugh. "I, uh... didn't mean to, y'know, break any hearts or anything..."

Ophelia, her face burning bright red, buried her face in her hands. "I... I can't believe this. This is so humiliating."

Anastasia, still holding onto Kadoc's chain, gave a sly smirk. "I think it's cute. A little crush here, a little German confession there… Very romantic, no?"

Kadoc sighed, glancing at her before muttering under his breath. "Romantic, sure. If only I could understand a word of it."

Mash, trying to stay diplomatic, smiled sympathetically at Ophelia. "It's okay, Ophelia. No one's judging you for expressing your feelings. It's actually... really brave."

Ophelia peeked through her fingers, clearly still mortified. "Brave? I feel like I want to disappear..."

Morgan chuckled softly, leaning toward Ophelia with a teasing glint in her eyes. "Oh, Ophelia, darling, you shouldn't be so shy. If you want Ritsuka, you're going to have to be a little bolder. He attracts plenty of attention, after all."

Ophelia's eyes widened, and she turned to Morgan, her voice a mixture of panic and confusion. "B-Bold? What do you mean, bold? I—"

Morgan cut her off with a playful smirk. "You're not the only one interested, you know. You might want to step up your game if you want to keep up."

Ritsuka's face turned bright red at Morgan's words. "Morgan! Not helping!"

Gudako, rubbing her temples in pure exasperation, threw her hands up again. "This is ridiculous. First, we have Ophelia pouring her heart out in German, then you acting all clueless, and now Morgan is stirring the pot like she's in a soap opera."

Anastasia smirked at Kadoc, giving him a playful nudge. "You should be taking notes. Romance can be such an entertaining sport."

Kadoc groaned, rubbing his forehead. "This whole thing is giving me a headache. Why can't anything around Ritsuka be normal?"

Mash, always trying to calm the situation, took a step forward. "Okay, let's all just take a deep breath. Ritsuka, maybe you should just... talk to Ophelia? Properly?"

Ritsuka blinked, glancing at Mash before looking back at Ophelia. "Talk? Uh, sure... I guess I could do that."

Ophelia, still beet red, tried to wave her hands in protest. "No, no! There's no need to talk about it! I said too much already!"

But before Ritsuka could respond, the system chimed in once again:

[Host, this is the perfect time to make your move! Don't let this golden opportunity slip away! You've got this!]

Ritsuka groaned internally. "Can you not right now, system?"

Morgan crossed her arms, watching the interaction with mild amusement. "Come now, Ritsuka. Don't be shy. Go on, make her an offer she can't refuse."

Ritsuka blinked, a bead of sweat rolling down his forehead. "An offer? What are we talking about here?"

Morgan grinned. "Why, invite her to join the harem, of course."

Ophelia nearly fainted. "H-Harem!?"

Gudako slapped her forehead. "Of course it comes back to the harem! Why am I not surprised?"

Mash, trying to maintain composure, smiled weakly. "Well, if you think about it... Ophelia did confess her feelings..."

Ophelia's face burned brighter than ever as she stammered. "T-That was just...! I didn't mean for it to come out like that! It was a mistake!"

Ritsuka, still feeling the pressure, scratched his head nervously. "Uh... I mean, if you want to join the harem, Ophelia, I won't stop you, but... no pressure?"

Ophelia blinked rapidly, completely overwhelmed. "W-What? No pressure? What kind of... I... I don't know what to say!"

Morgan leaned back with a smug smile, clearly enjoying the chaos. "Looks like she's flustered. Perhaps you should kiss her to calm her down, Ritsuka."

Ritsuka nearly choked. "Morgan! Not helping!"

Ophelia, now in full-blown panic mode, looked like she might explode from sheer embarrassment. "I-I need to leave! I need to think! This is too much!"

Before anyone could stop her, Ophelia quickly turned and fled the room, her face still as red as a tomato.

Ritsuka sighed, watching her go. "Well... that could've gone better."

Gudako folded her arms, giving Ritsuka a deadpan stare. "You think?"

Kadoc, shaking his head, let out a deep sigh. "This whole thing feels like one of those trashy romance novels Anastasia reads."

Anastasia gave him a playful smirk. "Not just any romance novel, darling. Premium romance novels."

Mash, trying to be positive, looked at Ritsuka. "I'm sure Ophelia just needs some time to process everything. It was... a lot."

Ritsuka sighed again, feeling like he'd somehow managed to make things even more complicated. "Yeah... a lot."

Morgan, still grinning like a cat who got the cream, gave him a playful pat on the shoulder. "Don't worry, husband. I'm sure you'll win her over soon enough."

Ritsuka groaned. "I really didn't sign up for all this..."

Kadoc then finally spoke. "Wair Harem, sense when did you have a harem"

Kadoc stop and looked at Mash and Morgan. "You know that explains why Morgan and Mash are always with you, but I don't think having two girl dating count as a Harem"

Ritsuka and Morgan eyes moved to the invisible Kama who was lapping her ass of, as she was enjoying the fact that nobody knows.

Ritsuka just looked at Kadoc. "Yeah I gess so".

Kadoc raised an eyebrow at Ritsuka's nonchalant response, clearly still confused. "Wait, wait—what do you mean, 'I guess so'? Is there something you're not telling me? Because two girls doesn't make a harem, Ritsuka."

Mash, blushing slightly, tried to clarify. "Well... it's a bit more complicated than that, Kadoc."

Morgan grinned slyly, clearly enjoying the tension. "Yes, much more complicated. We aren't the only ones, after all."

Kadoc's confusion deepened, and he looked around the room, as if expecting more women to pop out of nowhere. "What do you mean, 'not the only ones'? How many—"

Before he could finish his sentence, Kama, still invisible, let out another laugh, drawing everyone's attention. Ritsuka's eyes darted toward her, sighing internally as he knew exactly what was going to happen next.

Kama finally decided to make her presence known, materializing in front of them with a smug expression. "Oh Kadoc, sweet summer child. You really have no idea what's going on, do you?"

Kadoc blinked in shock, his mouth hanging open for a moment as he stared at Kama. "Wait, who the hell is this now? And why is she—"

Kama leaned in closer to Kadoc, her smile teasing. "Let me enlighten you. You see, Ritsuka doesn't just have two girlfriends. He has an entire harem. And I'm in it."

Kadoc's face paled as he looked between Ritsuka, Kama, and the others. "A harem? Are you serious? How did this happen?"

Ritsuka scratched the back of his head awkwardly. "Yeah, it's... a long story. It's not like I planned for this to happen."

Kadoc stared at him in disbelief. "You accidentally ended up with a harem?"

Ritsuka groaned. "It's more like... the system kind of... made it happen."

Kama chuckled and patted Ritsuka on the shoulder. "Come on, Kadoc. You know Ritsuka's a chick magnet. All these lovely ladies just couldn't resist."

Morgan nodded in mock seriousness. "It's true. The allure of the 'Last Master of Humanity' is quite hard to resist."

Mash blushed even more, trying to hide her embarrassment. "W-We all care about Ritsuka deeply. That's... how it is."

Kadoc rubbed his temples, feeling a headache forming. "This is insane. How do you even... manage something like this? And why is no one else freaking out?"

Anastasia, who had been silently observing, smirked. "Because it's entertaining. And besides, harem dynamics can be... interesting."

Kadoc looked at her in disbelief. "Interesting? That's one way to put it."

Ritsuka sighed, his voice filled with exasperation. "Look, Kadoc, it's not like I asked for this. I'm just trying to deal with it as best as I can."

Kama grinned mischievously, clearly enjoying the chaos. "And he's doing a great job, don't you think? Keeping all of us happy. It's quite impressive, really."

Kadoc just stared at them all, completely lost for words. Finally, he threw his hands up in surrender. "You know what? Fine. I'm done. This is too much. You have a harem. I don't get it, but whatever."

Kama laughed, her amusement never fading. "Smart move, Kadoc. It's better not to question it too much."

As the tension began to dissipate, Mash smiled awkwardly. "It's really not as crazy as it sounds once you get used to it."

Kadoc shook his head, still in disbelief. "I don't think I'll ever get used to this. But I guess if it works for you guys..."

Morgan leaned back, a playful smile still on her face. "Trust me, Kadoc. You'll get used to it soon enough."

Ritsuka sighed, rubbing his temples. "I sure hope so... because I'm still figuring it out myself."

Chapter 38: Keeping a secret

Kadoc then looked at Kama, as then he pulled out his phone, as he then looked at group Photo that Him, Ritsuka and Kama in he teen form took during High school. He then looked at the photo then looked back at her, and then just did it 5 more times.

Kadoc just looked at kama. "Kama what, how did you become so Mature, how did you so many years up, what is happening"

Ritsuka just looked at him. "Ok so explanation, Kama is a goddess".

The words sink in for everyone, as other then Morgan and kama, everyone snapped there neck looking at Ritsuka screaming what.

Kadoc's jaw dropped as he kept looking between the group photo and Kama, his mind trying to comprehend what he'd just heard. He finally blurted out, "Wait, wait, hold on—a goddess? How did this happen?"

Ritsuka rubbed the back of his neck, preparing himself for the barrage of questions. "Yeah… it's kind of complicated, but yeah, she's an actual goddess. And she can change her appearance, which explains the whole 'teen to mature' thing."

Mash's eyes were wide as she echoed everyone else's shock, her voice almost trembling. "A goddess? As in... like a real divine being?"

Kama, clearly enjoying the chaos, gave a smug grin and crossed her arms. "That's right. I'm the goddess of love, desire, and all that fun stuff. You're all just lucky to be in my presence."

Kadoc, still flabbergasted, muttered to himself, "I thought she was just... y'know, a regular person in high school. How did I miss this?"

Ritsuka shrugged. "To be fair, we were all pretty distracted with other stuff back then. It wasn't exactly something that came up."

Kama chuckled and added, "Besides, I didn't reveal my true nature back then. No point in making things awkward when we were just having fun."

The room was still filled with stunned silence as everyone processed this revelation. Anastasia raised an eyebrow. "So, we've been dealing with an actual goddess this entire time?"

Kama shot her a wink. "Yup! And doing a pretty good job of it too, I might add."

Kadoc was still staring at his phone, flipping back and forth between the group photo and Kama's current form. "This... this doesn't make any sense. I mean, I guess it kind of does, but it's just... a lot."

Mash, who was still recovering from the shock, looked to Ritsuka for more clarification. "So, um... how does this affect everything? I mean, if Kama's a goddess, does that change how we interact with her?"

Kama leaned forward, smirking. "Oh, don't worry, Mash. I'm still the same Kama you've always known. But if you want to worship me, I won't stop you."

Ritsuka sighed, sensing that Kama was getting a bit carried away. "Look, it doesn't change much in terms of how we work together. It's just something you now know about. She's still part of the team, goddess or not."

Kadoc finally looked up from his phone, shaking his head. "I can't believe I didn't notice this earlier. It's like everything's just... clicking into place now."

Morgan, who had been quietly observing the conversation, finally spoke, her voice tinged with amusement. "You mortals are always so shocked when confronted with the divine. It's almost endearing."

Kadoc shot her a look. "Yeah, well, not everyone hangs out with goddesses and queens on a regular basis, Morgan."

Ritsuka chuckled nervously. "Trust me, Kadoc, it takes some getting used to. But you'll be fine. It's just another part of the job at this point."

As the room slowly returned to a semblance of normalcy, Kadoc put his phone away, still shaking his head in disbelief. "A goddess... in high school... I think I need a drink."

Kadoc just looked at Kama. "Wait Kama, the Indian God of Love, I thought she was he".

Ritsuka just looked at Kadoc. "Don't ask, please don't ask unless you wanna have a brain fuck, and listen in this room it Me, You (Kadoc), Ophelia, Mash, Morgan, Anastasia and Kama, keep this a secret".

Kadoc just looked at him. "So can I ask how is god here in a Modern time, especially after the end of the age of God's"

Ritsuka sighed, running a hand through his hair as he prepared himself to answer Kadoc's question. "Okay, so… short version: even though the Age of Gods ended, there are still some gods who managed to stick around in one way or another. Some found ways to stay relevant, or they were powerful enough to transcend those changes. Kama is one of those gods."

Kama, still smirking, gave a playful wink. "I'm too irresistible to fade away, even after the Age of Gods ended. Love and desire? They're eternal, darling."

Kadoc blinked, clearly trying to process this new information. "So, gods can still walk the earth even in modern times?"

Ritsuka nodded. "Pretty much, yeah. Though most of them aren't as active as they used to be, or they hide their true nature. Kama's just one of the rare exceptions."

Morgan, who had been listening intently, added, "The gods may no longer dominate the world like they once did, but their influence persists. Some, like Kama, have adapted to the new world. Others remain in their own realms, dormant but not gone."

Kadoc raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "So, what's stopping them from coming back? If gods can still be around, what's stopping them from, I don't know, taking over again?"

Ritsuka shook his head. "It's not that simple. The world's different now, and most gods don't have the same kind of influence they used to. Plus, humanity has changed. People don't worship the way they did in the Age of Gods, and that affects the gods too. They can't just 'come back' in the same way."

Kama chimed in, leaning back casually. "And besides, who would want to go through all that trouble? Things are much more interesting the way they are now. Gods like me are better off just enjoying life and messing with mortals when the mood strikes."

Kadoc glanced at Kama warily. "Right... messing with mortals."

Mash, who had been quiet until now, looked at Ritsuka. "So... does this mean there are other gods we might encounter?"

Ritsuka shrugged. "Possibly. We've met a few already, and I wouldn't be surprised if more show up. But it's not like they're all as active as Kama."

Anastasia, who had been quietly observing the conversation, spoke up, her tone measured. "It's fascinating how much the world still retains traces of the divine, even in a time when magic and gods have faded."

Ophelia, who had been blushing ever since her earlier confession, finally broke her silence, speaking softly. "I suppose... it's comforting in a way. Knowing that some things, like love and desire, never truly disappear."

Kama's grin widened as she glanced at Ophelia. "Exactly! That's why I'm still here, darling."

Kadoc, still somewhat overwhelmed, leaned back in his seat. "Okay... so, gods are still around, they just operate in secret, and we're supposed to keep this all under wraps?"

Ritsuka nodded firmly. "Exactly. This isn't something that should get out. The last thing we need is more chaos."

Kadoc sighed heavily. "Yeah, well... I think I've had enough surprises for one day."

Ophelia, still looking flustered from her earlier confession, shook her head and muttered, "I feel like I'm living inside an anime right now..."

Mash glanced at her with a small smile, trying to ease the tension. "For some reason, I have this sudden urge to... I don't know, read a fanfic? All this drama, hidden emotions, and sudden revelations... It just feels like one."

Ritsuka couldn't help but laugh, crossing his arms. "Honestly, with everything that's been going on, you're not wrong, Mash. I wouldn't be surprised if someone somewhere is writing about all of us right now."

Kama winked at Mash, leaning forward with a teasing grin. "Fanfic, huh? You might want to be careful what you wish for, Mash. Those things can get... interesting, to say the least."

Mash's eyes widened a little, suddenly regretting her comment. "Wait... interesting how?"

Ritsuka coughed awkwardly. "Yeah, let's not go down that rabbit hole."

Kadoc groaned, rubbing his temples. "Fanfic, gods, harems... How is this my life right now? I just wanted to deal with...what ever happens and maybe not die. Now I'm in some kind of romance-fueled god comedy."

Anastasia, ever the composed one, chuckled softly. "Well, Kadoc, life does have a tendency to surprise us."

Ophelia gave a soft laugh, feeling a bit more relaxed. "At least we're all in this... strange adventure together."

Ritsuka smiled at the group. "Exactly. Strange or not, it's better because we're all in this as a team."

Kama stretched lazily. "Team, harem, family... Whatever you want to call it. Just make sure to keep things interesting."

Mash nodded, still smiling as she reflected on everything. "Interesting is definitely one way to describe this."

Kadoc leaned back, looking at the ceiling. "I think I'm going to need a vacation after this."

Everyone shared a laugh, the absurdity of their situation somehow making it easier to handle. Even with all the chaos, there was a sense of camaraderie that made it worth it.

As everyone began to leave Ritsuka's room, Ophelia lingered, her gaze fixed on him. She approached, her expression a mix of determination and tenderness.

"Since I'm part of your harem now," Ophelia said softly, her voice trailing off as if seeking confirmation, "I guess I can do this."

Before Ritsuka could respond, Ophelia closed the distance between them, her hands gently cradling his face. She leaned in and kissed him deeply. The kiss was passionate and filled with a mix of longing and affection.

Their lips moved together, and the kiss deepened. The sounds of their kiss—soft, tender, and intimate—echoed in the room. Ophelia's hands slid to Ritsuka's neck, pulling him closer, while Ritsuka's arms wrapped around her waist, holding her firmly yet gently.

❤️❤️❤️❤️

As they finally pulled away, both were breathless, their faces flushed. Ophelia looked at Ritsuka with a soft smile, her eyes conveying emotions she had long kept hidden.

Ritsuka, still catching his breath, returned her smile, touched by the genuine affection in her gesture. "Ophelia, you don't have to..."

Ophelia interrupted him with a gentle touch on his lips. "I wanted to. I'm glad to be part of your life, and this is how I wanted to show it."

The room was quiet for a moment, the intensity of their kiss settling into a comfortable, shared silence. It was clear that their relationship had taken a new, meaningful step forward.

In his room, Ritsuka looked at Kama and Morgan, trying to process everything that had happened.

Kama, always with her playful and teasing demeanor, broke the silence with a chippy tone. "Well, once Olga finds out about this, she's going to be so jealous of Ophelia. And as for the other female Masters, they'll definitely mark Ophelia as enemy number one!"

Her words, delivered with a touch of humor, made Ritsuka and Morgan exchange knowing glances. It was clear Kama was enjoying the situation and the implications of her statement.

Ritsuka chuckled, shaking his head. "You're not wrong. I guess we'll have to be prepared for some interesting reactions."

Morgan nodded, a smirk on her face. "It's always something with this group, isn't it?"

Kama laughed, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Oh, absolutely. But that's what makes it so entertaining. Let's just hope we can handle whatever comes our way."

Ritsuka sighed, appreciating the levity. "Yeah, let's hope so. For now, I think we've got enough on our plate."

As the laughter died down, Ritsuka turned to Kama and Morgan with a more serious expression.

"So, Kama, any advice on how to manage all these relationships and keep things balanced?" he asked, genuinely curious about how to navigate the complexities of his newly expanded harem.

Kama, with her usual nonchalance, responded, "Well, the key is communication and fairness. Make sure everyone feels valued and heard. It's also important to set clear boundaries and expectations. And remember, keep things light-hearted when possible; no one likes unnecessary drama."

Morgan, who had been listening intently, added, "Kama's right. Also, make sure to spend quality time with each person. It's not just about quantity but quality of the time you spend together. And don't forget to check in with everyone about how they're feeling."

Ritsuka nodded, absorbing their advice. "Got it. I'll make sure to keep that in mind."

As the conversation continued, the mood in the room relaxed. They discussed various strategies for managing relationships and navigating the challenges that lay ahead. The playful and supportive atmosphere provided Ritsuka with some much-needed clarity and reassurance.

Eventually, the conversation turned to the next steps and how to handle potential challenges from outside forces, given the dynamics of his harem and the broader context of their world. The trio worked together to plan their approach, each contributing their unique perspectives.

As they wrapped up, Ritsuka felt a sense of camaraderie and preparedness. With Kama's and Morgan's guidance, he felt more equipped to face the complexities of his situation. They all knew that challenges lay ahead, but they also knew that with teamwork and understanding, they could handle whatever came their way.
