The dark haired woman's grip shifted on the bar. When she came to exercise, she hadn't expected to run into anyone she knew. Naia especially hadn't wanted to encounter this mercurial woman right now.

"It's nothing. I just need to stay in shape for when we're cleared."

"Right. And this has nothing to do with a certain person being too busy for anything but his terminal lately?"

The woman's shoulders stiffened before she returned to curling the weight.

"I don't want to talk about him."

"Fine."

Theia straightened and stepped away from the machine. She held out one hand toward her while gesturing toward the other side of the gym, where the CQC mats were at.

"Then let's spar instead. Light contact only - something actually allowed that won't get you in trouble."
