Chapter 87: When The Moon Rises His Powers Strengthens

Outside the window was another full moon.

The rays of the bright full moon filtered in through the window, but the equally bright light inside the room fought against the intruder.

In the end, nobody won, and the two merged into one because their duty was the same—to provide light.

No one was greater than the other.

Inside the room, Jidenna rubbed his forearm to dispel the chilly cold.

He rechecked the windows making sure their locked for the night.

But the locked windows did little to stop the chill from creeping in.

At some point, he had gotten used to the unnatural chill that resided in this dormitory.

A chill that even fluffy blankets couldn't defeat was indeed no ordinary chill.

Sometimes it could get so cold that frosty breaths came out with his exhalations, especially on nights with full moons like this.

Jidenna had already prepared the necessary things to survive the dreadful full moon night.
