Chapter 48: Over his…body

Behind Jidenna's brave facade was a frustrated person he grinned in pain.

The areas hit were experiencing a train wreck constantly sending pulsing signals of pain to his mind.

His body began to show signs of wear, his arms and feet felt laden with lead, his back slightly hunched with a weight he wasn't aware of.

He fisted and released his hands, the frustration bubbling up inside him raged slowly morphing into fear and desperation.

Jidenna feared he would be beaten into paste in the dirty alleyway with narrowed walls.

And he was equally being desperate to escape but each time he's attempt was blocked and he was hammered harder

He shifted his feet and a spark of pain shot up his leg ignoring that he entered a stance and advanced.

Jidenna swore he would give his best shot to bring the both of them down disregarding his weary body.

This time without waiting for them to move first he shot towards the leader.
